So i got my first NOA2 on June 5 but the NVC still hasnt received it. After 4 weeks i had USCIS investigate the case (they said give them 30 days). So just a few days ago i got another letter from the USCIS. Its a I-797 Notice of action...and its the identical to the first letter i got only this one has a notice date of July 24th... Can anyone explain? Is there something i missing here? Thanks!

It appears they just issued another I-797 (noa2) since yours was apparently lost. Probably has a different date only because of the validity period (4 months).

Can I have one?

Oh,in our case it's different,we already have a new case number from NVC but my fiance never got hold of our NOA2 hard copy yet,it's been 10days since we got approved thru email  I told him to call on monday to ask if they could re-send it,maybe it got lost in the mail.

I-129F doesn't stay long at NVC, it moves out to the consulate in a few days.

Once it's forwarded to the consulate, they might not find it on NVC's system.

Could it be your I-129F has already been forwarded to the consulate?
