I requested an expedition of my k1 two days ago under the criteria "extereme emergent" which will suit the incidents taking place in North West frontier Pakistan (close to Afghanistan borders). As some of you already know the sitiation down there through news and papers etc. I was told I wil be contacted by local USCIS office sometime soon. Do you guys know what would that be about? Do you think they are gonna ask for a proof or they will look upon the reasons themselves? Even if they do ask me about proof how can I provide that to them?

IN MY OLD POST:

I am from N.W.F.Pakistan. Yes, that would be the hot zone right on the broder of Pakistan and Afghanistan where the fight is on rise between Pak Army and militants are blowing every place in the city. My fiance used to teach at Army Public College and I told her to quit going there cause the militants threatend to blow up the college since it belongs to Army, so now she is out of job. She can't step out of the house cause the city is not safe. I am really worried about her and trying to find a way to get her out of that mess as soon as possible. Can someone give me a direction if there is possibility that USCIS would understand my concerns?

She cant go to work either that means my expedite fits "Severe financial loss to company or individual" as wel. Any comments you fellows?

Your fiancee's life is in danger so yes they will understand if you can explain your issue to them properly. Gather evidence like news reports preferably from western media and press and explain the circumstances she lives in everyday. USCIS I am sure will approve the expedite. I just wish she was your wife and not just your fiancee as that makes the case stronger. But all the best to you.

regards,

Sara.

I think if you write a very detailed letter and try to give the information as to the conditons that she is faceing and the situation there.

My husband is from Peshawar, and we were wondering what city is she in?

I recently requested expedited processing for the I-129F application of my fiancée for similar reasons, and it was approved.

My fiancée is Iraqi and is living in Syria. I simply wrote a letter explaining that she could be denied further visa extensions to Syria at anytime, and it is far too dangerous for her to return to Iraq. I provided some reasons for the danger (her city being particularly unstable, some violent incidents that have happened there recently) and provided copies of her Syrian visa stamps and extensions. I didn't hear anything for the first 2 weeks after sending the letter, but after calling and speaking to the officer in charge of my case, it was approved within 10 days.

Good luck.
