I don't know how I let my husband break my heart like this, but I've decided that I need to just pretend like I'm single and on my own again and get on with my life. He'll come back when he decides I'm important enough but I don't want him here if he doesn't want to be and I can't keep hoping and waiting like this

He says he just wants to wait until his brother comes home since he hasn't seen him in 2 years, but there is always a reason to put it off - it's always just another week... he waited an extra 2 weeks bc he didn't want to spend the money to change the ticket, but he will do it to see his brother :( just not his wife... I waited two years for him and six months later he goes back - I'm sorry, but I don't want to wait anymore

I'm so sorry you are facing these difficulties. I wish he would just come back and show you how much he loves you. Men can be so stubborn!

Cleaning out the junk room which will be where his sister will get to sleep. This sucks! I did mount the Bedouin rug I've had for 3 years now on the wall though, and I feel like I accomplished SOMETHING. Why do I have so much freaking immigration #######?? I can't wait to toss it! As a random aside, I found my old chemistry goggles and am wearing them. Now I remember why I thought to myself I could never do a job that involved goggles but no water.

Oh yes I've been there cleaning my brothers attic.

Julianna,

What did you use to mount the rug? I have a very small Navaho rug I would like to hang, but not box fame it. Any suggestions?

Hey, y'all - Happy Caturday. In honor of Caturday, my hubby and I went to see some cats at the Animal Shelter. We didn't bring any home, as we weren't feeling the love too much from those there. We'll see sometime soon if we find one who warms our heart.

(((((((((((((((((((((Polar)))))))))))))))))))))))) Sorry about your news.

I hope you all have a good day! (F)(F)(F)

Happy Saturday!!!

God grant me more patience --- filing out applications with my husband.....

He reminded me I am married to a man from the "countryside" -- employment applications (in a new language) are not his thing. I am counting my blessings that he is here.

PB --- don't get down. I'm sure he is torn. Wants to see family and home he knows and misses you. Use the time to keep up your 4.0!

Peace!!!

Thanks - I'm sure he is.... he actually asked my permision and told me he wouldn't do it if I told him "no" But in all honesty I love him and I know his family is important to him. Again, I don't want him here if he doesn't want to be - which I told him after I wrote that post. Told him if he wasn't back before the 25th he would miss my school vacation entirely and he would be sleeping on the couch if he didn't come back before Ramadan, but ultimately it's up to him.

He said maby he will come back the day after his brother arrives (the 19th) but I don't know when he will really be here. I'm not going to believe him until he is at the airport

To be posted VERY LOW on the refrigerator door - pet nose height.

Dear Dogs and Cats:

The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food.

The

other dishes are mine and contain my food.

Please note, placing a paw

print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it

becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing

in the slightest.

The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is not a racetrack.

Beating

me to the bottom is not the o bj ect.

Tripping me doesn't help because I

fall faster than you can run.

I cannot buy anything bigger than a king sized bed.

I am very sorry

about this.

Do not think I will continue sleeping on the couch to ensure

your comfort.

Dogs and cats can actually curl up in a ball when they

sleep.

It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other

stretched out to the fullest extent possible.

I also know that sticking

tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to

maximize space is nothing but sarcasm.

For the last time, there is no secret exit from the bathroom.

If by some

miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not

necessary to claw, whine, meow, try to turn the knob or get your paw

under the edge and try to pull the door open.

I must exit through the

same door I entered.

Also, I have been using the bathroom for years

--canine or feline attendance is not required.

The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog or cat's butt.

I cannot stress this enough!

To pacify you, my dear pets, I have posted the following message on our

front door:

To All Non-Pet Owners Who Visit &Like to Complain About Our Pets:

1. They live here. You don't.

2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.

That's why they call it 'fur'niture.

3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.

4. To you, they are an animal.

To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter

who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.

Remember: Dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

1.

Eat less

2.

Don't ask for money all the time

3 Are easier to train

4.

Normally come when called

5.

Never ask to drive the car

6 Don't hang out with drug-using friends

7.

Don't smoke or drink

8.

Don't have to buy the latest fashions

9.

Don't want to wear your clothes

10. Don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and...

11.

If they get pregnant, you can sell their children

Awe PB I know how you feel. During the week that my Husband gets off from the military each month he spends the majority of his time with his family and friends and maybe talks to me for 1-2 hrs online if the connection is any good. At first I was upset about how little time we're getting now and how much time his friends and family are getting during that week. I was thinking they've had him for 29 years it's my time now that he's married. Then I realized how important family is to their culture and he has a lot of people that love him there that need him to share his time with plus he needs time for himself because in the military he isn't afforded personal time.

Now I just sulk most of the time and suck it in and march on with my life. If my Husband wants to contact me then he can contact me otherwise I try not to think about the non-existent marriage I have going on right now thanks to the Egyptian military.
