I have not posted a topic here since July 1 so I will share some thoughts with those of you who are still waiting for your AP to finish.

This morning while talking to my husband, I remembered again how much pain he has been feeling and I have been trying to avoid for the 11 months of AP that we have endured. Right now I am in a limbo, I do not know what to expect from the August date of the embassy but am thankful to even have a date.

I want to tell you guys that there IS an ending to AP. We have seen magic with our own eyes, and Belinda's case (belinda63) shows everyone that even with every obstacle in the book, people can overcome. I am very proud of her and her strength and wish that we can all be so strong so we can see the end to our journey and triumph for our success.

I am feeling a bit scattered, and I do not know if that is evident in my topic post, but I am anxious and there is nothing but prayer that has and is helping me through this.

I know how you all are feeling, and it is painful in a way that cannot be described. Only you know your story and your struggles to finally find the one you love. Only you know how amazing that feeling was to go halfway around the world to find your other half. Only you know how amazingly wonderful it feels when your loved one touches you, gives you a kiss, and gives you a kind of happiness that you never imagined could be possible.

Only you know. Only I know. Congratulations, from the bottom of my heart to those of you who finally got their visas and are waiting for their loved ones to come to America. We are still waiting for our happy day. I hope that my journey will be over soon and so will yours.

Please everyone, keep us updated and we will help each other out the best we can.

Tammy

Thank you for your encouraging words, Tammy. We have been in AP for less than a week, but it is still agonizing - the mystery, the uncertainty and the knowledge that this could potentially drag on for a year, or longer.

One can't help but ask, "WHY?"

We are trying to stay strong, although I have a feeling that this lingering anxiety won't go away until Onur's visa is in hand. Soon, I hope.

Best wishes to all of us - and it's nice to know we have a support group...I know I certainly need it right now.
