Carrie, yes, moving is a headache, I feel for ya...How is ayman doing? is he becoming a little more independant...Zaid is to the point where I rarely have to hold him anymore...He goes from one toy to the next..He has this new little fetish with shoving his whole fist in his mouth, I wonder if maybe he isnt starting to teeth...Did the transition to soy go well? I know you dont miss buying the nutramigen, lol...

Ayman is doing good. We went to the Dr on Monday because he now has Eczema really bad. He is 15 pounds at 3 1/2 months. He still would rather play with us than toys, but he is getting better about it. He tries to stuff his whole fist in his mouth as well. He's still on the soy, but his Dr said to start adding ceral to his bottles now twice a day. Then in 2 weeks we start food. He goes in for shots soon and I'm sooooo not looking forward to it.

Oh im sooooo glad you got it! See what I mean? I dont think you will need any 0-3 onsies at all! zaid never got to wear any of that stuff, he was toooo darn big, so i hope your guy can! Well now you can spend the day washing and folding and preparing...I loved doing those kinds of things before zaid was born! Enjoy!

ps....zaid will be getting cereal for the first time tonite when daddy gets home...He is drinking waaay too many bottles...doc said go ahead and try. im scared about the colic but we shall see

Key word is BEFORE he was born. I still don't mind it now, it just doesn't get folded as cute and neat as it did before.

He will be fine with the cereal. It will help cut down on the amount of formula, just watch him for constipation at first.

We have tried the Nestle Goodstart, Similac and Enfamil and I have to say the Enfamil is best for Ayman. It is not as grainy as the Similac powder and he doesn't get as constipated. He goes through a 25.7 can in a week so those coupons help out a lot. We also took everything from the hospital as well- diapers, wipes, pacis, nose sucker, t-shirts, bottles of formula...everything.

What prompted me to take him to the Dr was the spot behind his ear got so bad it started cracking and oozing. So we had to get an antibiotic cream to use for 5 days, then we are to follow up with cortisone 1% once a day for a few days until it gets better. We are also to switch back to Dreft detergent and keep using Aveno soap and Eucerin cream.

I wish they had these free samples or hospital give aways here LOL! If I can't breastfeed then we are flat broke!

Have you tried appling for WIC- women, infants and children. its for low to moderate income people and it helps with formula and such for the baby when they are born, and for the mother while pregnant while she is pregnant and nursing. milk, cheese, eggs, stuff like that.

I would try it, Its only like 7$ and it seems to work wonders on zaid, I just REALLY have to keep up with it

Wahrania, I dont mean to get nosy, but, being the only working parent in your house, Could you qualify for assistance for formula thru your state?

Even if her husband was working she should be able to qualify for formula thru wic-the income guidelines are very high. But that might vary state to state too, but it sure can't hurt for her to try.

Terrie, she is not having the baby in the United States. Thats the problem. She isn't in a country that has those programs.

I got the box S and S. I love the little swaddling cloth and I was so excited when I saw the diapers and bottles. Thank you from the bottom of my heart S and S.... I am really appreciative.

Oh good, I was hoping you got it okay. I saw on the website that they left it on your door. I forgot to ask for the signature requirement, but I guess it worked out. I'm not a big fan of swaddling myself, but the one I sent you seemed like you could keep it as loose or tight as you want and so not as bad. Glad you like everything. I enjoyed picking it all out!
