Urgent question on RFE regarding I-864 sponsor

Hi all,

I am trying to get this RFE fixed ASAP, but I'm confused.

I have 2 errors:

X - Form I-864 Affidavit of Support was submitted; however, it was not from the petitioner/sponsor.

In order to process your application further, submit a completed and signed Form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on Form I-130 or Form I-129F.

WHY IN (near) DUPLICATE?!!! Could they have messed up with error reporting, and I have another error?

Anyway.....

My wife filled out the I-864, but used her maiden name instead of married name. All her previous paperwork was filed under her maiden name, and her W2's etc are under her maiden name. The I-129F has her as the sponsor with her maiden name.

What could be the problem?

i dont think soit would be a prob coz my wife has also filled out the forms using her maiden name.it wont be a big prob

Call the nvc and confirm.
