Try using just the first three letters of the month. :)

EXP 30 JUL 2008A

etc :)

Edit-the August 1 probably didn't work because they haven't prepared their shipment yet. :)

MnM, it looks like both of our files are headed to Islamabad. The package weights 6lbs, so I would assume that it has more than one petition inside! Mine left the NVC on the 30th as well.

Yeah I was following the status of the files. Let's see when they send out packet 3. I sent the I-134 packet today. DHL charge $65!!! Anyway... I've been reading the horror stories of people being denied and put on AP and what not. I pray that everything goes smoothly for us.

Hey monty1 which city u guys in

My fiancee is in Rawalpindi. I've told her to go ahead and get the police report since I've heard that it can take up to two weeks to obtain it. I think you can just get it from the local police station. I'll let you know what she finds out.

Here is a link to the Poverty Guidelines for 2008: http://aspe.hhs.gov/poverty/08poverty.shtml

Basically, when you fill out the I-134 the instructions list what you need. They ask for a statement from your employer stating when you started, your salary, full-time or part time, and what your position is. Also it asks for a statement from your bank stating the date you opened the account, the current balance, and the amount that has been deposited over the past year.

From what I've read, if you're over the poverty guideline then all you need is a statement from your employer, but I sent everything to my fiancee just incase they ask.
