Called NVC today for interview date

I just want to know, if NVC is right as they said they would schedule the interview in 2nd week of August for Mumbai Consulate, should I trust them or should I call them again next week also for the interview date,

please let me know

CALL them Twice a day EVERYDAY!!! Send them an email too!! I haven't received and email back , but I did send them an email.....

Well in a way they are right but they meant to say they schedule interviews within the first two weeks of the month. So they may schedule your interview any time next week or any time the week after. You can call them everyday if you want to until you hit the jackpot.

We got our interview date last week, they told me to wait for the second week of August. Keep checking with them.

Exactly what everyone else said. I was told to call back in 2 weeks and what not... it's bullsh*t. I called the very next day and I had my interview date. Be persistant.

You should check by Friday of this week as well as Friday of next week. It takes the first two weeks of each month to make appointments. Good luck.

Sorry a little confused, a few questions.. #1 - who am I going to find out the interview date from? The department of state or the American Embassy in Chile? But then should I be receiving a letter from ? stating my interview date? I plan on going to the interview with him so the sooner I find out the better. #2 - the Affidivat of Support forms - Will I be receiving a letter stating what I need to fill out? I know that there is forms everywhere I can go off of, but I would rather receive something official first stating what they want from me.

has anyone by chance received an interview date in last few days - i dont want to rush things (lol of course not) as we have been done that road, but i am wondering if london is somewhat backed up and takes a bit to schedule - maybe should post in the UK thread, but hey its early lol

I had an odd experience. According to NVC automatic AVR, my "case complete" date changed. Initially, it was July 30th but yesterday I called and it had changed to "August 5th." Any idea of what that might mean?
