Preparing for Interview

So I spent today going through all the papers and making sure I had everything organized and together. Just want someone to let me know if I should have more or less!!! Now if anyone else wants to post just exactly what they brought along with them so I can make sure I didn't forget anything, I'll be forever greatful. I have all the things from the checklist and the I-134 plus a letter from my fiance's employers and his bank, I have his 2005 income tax return and updated letter of intent. Am I missing anything? The biggest question I have is the proof of ongoing relationship. I have a few pics, boarding passes from his trips to visit since we filed the I-129f, the receipts for gas and hotel I used to drive down to visit him, our phone records since we filed with all the calls daily to each other ( we used an MCI calling card so all the calls from him to me and me to him are on one bill each month) and christmas, valentines and easter cards. Think that's enough. I am getting really nervous now and I don't want to show up there missing something and have to wait any longer. I am so ready for this to be over. And I don't want to change our wedding date. August 19th wooooooohooooooooooooo!!! theres light at the end of the tunnel. Just 22 days before my interview!!!!

You sound like you are very prepared. As long as you have everything on the checklist and nothing is expired etc. you will be just fine. it's always good to bring a little extra stuff to prove your relationship. They barely glanced at our wedding pictures we brought and looked at nothing else (we went a little overboard). Better to have too much than not enough! But make sure you have at least 1 copy of every single document on the checklist because they might want a copy to keep. You will be fine. Interviews are always rather anticlimatic after waiting for so long. They are a breeze! Good luck!!!!!

I dont think your missing anything. You seem to have everthing you need for the interview.

They didnt even ask me for any evidence when I had my interview in Montreal. Maybe Joel can tell you if they asked him for anything when he has his on the 5th.

Your going to do great girl. Try not to be nervous, the people in Montreal are great. They just want whats on the checklist and the Support papers and employers letter from your fiance.

Are you home in Nova Scotia now, or still in Alabama?

You're done. Put everything aside until the interview. Give yourself a day off to destress and then start thinking about which brand of champagne you'll be sipping on August 19.

Thanks guys, But as far as relaxing no can do I'm a born worry wart!!! I'm still in Bama I'll be leaving to go back a week or so before the interveiw. Thanks for the tip about the champagne it will help some for sure, along with the thousand other wedding plans.
