Hi everyone-:

On the I-130 form it asked for my I-94 number, however I am an F-1 therefore free to travel to and fro. I have four I-94 cards (photocopies) including my initial card that I received when I first entered in 2004 and also my most recent one from 2007 which do you suggest they are referring to??

Also as an F-1 I do not have an A#, I have a Sevis number should I include this number anywhere on my applications or perhaps on the rear of my passport photos??

Thanks,

Have a good one!

The most recent I-94 is what is being referred to.

Look on reverse side of I-94, the POE may have written an A# there, if not, then note "NONE" for A#

I would just write name on the back side of passport pictures.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

You'll only get an a number as an F-1 if you applied for OPT. Like YuAndDan says, put NONE.

Ignore the SEVIS number.

As an F-1 you need to send in copies of your I-20 though, so that they know you've maintained your student status up until filing.

don't forget that the I-94 also says D/S (duration of stay) which is as long as your I-20 is valid. I remember that somewhere you are meant to put in how long the I-94 is valid.

What do you mean you have 4 I-94??

I am on L1, also free to travel back and forth like you, but you have to give your I-94 to the airport of departure when you leave and then get one back upen re-entering the US!

I would be very careful NOT showing the old I-94's you have.. because it means you didn't report your departure to USCIS, which is not good...

05/12/04 => Arrived in the US under L1 status / work visa

03/05/05 => Met the love of my life

07/02/07 => Married my wonderful USC husband

______AOS JOURNEY________________________________

10/03/08 => Package sent to USCIS

03/03/09 => Interview in Chicago, IL =>> APPROVED!

______REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS JOURNEY______________

She has photocopies of them, not the originals.

The International Student Office usually makes you bring in any new I-94s to make copies of them.

F.Y.I...As i stated in my post I take photocopies of all immigration documents!! Therefore by (photocopies) I meant not the original rather a photocopy of each of my I-94's!! I understand the fact that you must submit your I-94 upon departure from the U.S. thats a very basic principle any F-1 or other visa holder ought to comprehend! Thanks for your interest though!
