and btw, it has nothing to do with race for me or probably alot of people... it has to do with his liberal ways and (other) If there was a conservative black man that was running I would certainly vote him in! :thumbs:

and here... I think I may have to get sloppy drunk the first Tuesday in November this year in order to vote; just once I'd like to vote for someone, instead of against the other guy...haven't done that in over half my life :wacko:

There is no real choice this year as both candidates really bite. How did we ever end up with these clowns? Anyway, I will vote for McCain while fighting the urge to vomit all over the voting booth.

I've been for Obama since the beginning die to all the irrational topics that have come up on Mc Cain's end. I have to say this year the choices are difficult than some other times before, but I have to vote for the lesser of the evil. I stand by Obama!

I feel similarly about Obama, hehe. They both seem to do it.

It doesn't matter much what the candidates say now because they'll say anything to win votes...

I also agree that we have to vote for the better of the two...

This election is a contest of ideas more than ideals. Whichever candidate has the better ideas will be the next president. I don't think this time around, that many voters are standing by ideals over ideas.

Seriously though, which ideas are you thinking of specifically. I have to admit that I've lost interest to a certain extent in both of them, but I can't seem to think of any real novel ideas from either of them.
