Still nothing online for me!

Has anyone ever gone this long without their case being recognized online?

I filed august 4th and I still can't see my case online....nor have I received the interview letter which I hope arrives sometime next week.

based on what ??? :devil: I hope you are right!!!

on the other hand, when you look at semptember 08 group, there are already FIVE people who got interview dates WITHOUT receiving EAD or EP....

is USCIS developing new trend and saving on EAD cards? :whistle: which would make much sense to me...

Good news for me today! EAD Approved and card production ordered! Thanks God! I can finally start finding a work! :D

But no updates in my AOS yet..

I went to my first ever interview today. I was so nervous at first, and seeing I am the only Asian on the list made me more nervous plus I dont know what to expect on a "U.S." interview, and theres more...a man walked into the room in the middle of the interview and introduced himself as the owner (boy that almost killed me right there and then) but I collected myself and thought positively.. that for him to come in and join in the interview means he is very interested in me. Then he asked for my resume (the interviewer didnt ask for it but just made me sign an application form) and did the interviewing himself. I guess I did good cos he wants me to come back on Monday to monitor the work flow and see if I will like it and vice versa. Im full of positive energy right now, really deserve that after all the waiting from USCIS! God is good.

I will let you know on Monday when I nail it! This is the kind of job I really wanted so I hope I get it.

Got my EAD card in the mail today! YAY! :jest:

Also, made it to ssa office and applied for social. But as many of you already know, case still doesn't show online so I have to go back after a few days when I get a receipt in the mail to get my number.

You guys hang in there, you will be getting your interview letters soon.. :thumbs:

FYI: I still haven't been able to find my I-485 case online. So wouldn't worry about it.. for those who cannot see them either. I know it's frustrating, but they're coming.

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

01/02/09 - Response from RFE received (Form G-56/Call-in Notice Appointment)

Well I love my job. So far I have seen blood and ear mite samples under a microscope, given meds to dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and ages, given a bath to a 98lb pitbull, a husky, a boxer and several smaller dogs, helped give a dog chemo, learned how to mix drugs in the phamacy, assisted in surgery, given a cat hydrotherapy, seen happy things, nasty grusome things and really sad things. Had to assist in my first euthanasia today. Got a bit teary but the vet told me not to worry, you never get hardened to it but you learn how to just see it as just a nessecary procedure for the sake of the animal, she has been doing it for 10years and still gets teary occasionally and needs to take a few mins to pull herself together. My feet are killing me from 10hr days walking and standing on a concrete floor and my legs and a$$ hurt from all the squatting and lifting. Using muscles I've not used in ages.
