But the phone interview went well apparently.

This is such a dumb question, I know, but I need to ask... I'm setting up an account on the USCIS to track my case status (can you do that for AOS?), and it's asking for a case number. What exactly is it? The application number? USCIS A#?

I got an RFE (ARGH!) back in September - AFTER my biometrics - and the packet was sent off to Missori and received October 20th. I got a notice in the mail about a week ago saying that my case was then transferred to California earlier this month. I hope they bloody well got the packet I sent too. Anyway, does anyone here know what California is like with processing AOS cases? I've been seeing around the site that I'll be approved without an interview because it's in Cali. Is that true? O_O

Yeah - apparently if your case gets sent to Cali then you don't have to go for interview :D

Going to Manila Nov 1st for work...Get to spend 2 fantastic months with my baby!

With any luck, I will get my NOA2 when I get home in January!

The case number is the receipt no. Congrats on all approvals! :dance::dance: I got my learners prermit today. Got 19/20 on written exam

Thanks guys :D I'm not really that frustrated - I think I was moreso when I was expecting it to turn up sooner! Now I have kinda got into a routine of checking my e-mails, hanging out on facebook and then spending about eight hours developing my business I want to start up when I get a chance (that is money to invest in materials and get my website up and running online!) I don't know how I am going to find time to work when I get my EAD :lol:

It's been kinda neat though - I intended to work on my jewelry a lot when I got here and I haven't been motivated at all - now I am and it is really exciting - I keep doing funky things like working out how much I need to sell things for and how much I need to insure things for when I am shipping them - I have spreadsheets set up for accounts, excel formulae coming out of my ears... in fact I feel quite clever!!! :lol:

Good Morning,

I'm the USC, my hubby is from Jamaica (so am I), but I have my citizenship. He had several interviews and received a job offer, but because the facility is ran by a government contractor he has to have his greencard in hand before he can start. It's okay though, the position he applied for doesn't start until Jaunary, so I'm praying we get it by then. So, right now he's working a few hours a day with UPS seasonal helper. It's something to keep him busy.
