Does anyone know about the I-693? We don't have a copy of that as he had his medical in Frankfurt in April and we submitted the form then....I'm not sure if he needs to have another medical or not?

I am not sure how it works for you guys with K-1 visa and the exam in Frankfurt. I do know that if you already submitted it, you don't have to bring it again because they already have it in file. Now if you haven't, I would think you you need to get it done before the interview. Sorry can't be of much help.

Congrats on all other approvals and EAD cards. I am praying for all of you and I know we will get some more interview letters this week!!!

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

01/02/09 - Response from RFE received (Form G-56/Call-in Notice Appointment)

01/16/09 - Second Appointment to review application -- APPROVED! :-))) YAY!!!

01/16/09 - AOS card production ordered - E-mail from CRIS

01/22/09 - AOS card production ordered (again) - E-mail from CRIS

01/23/09 - AOS touched

01/24/09 - Received Welcome to the United States letter and approval notice for I-130

01/28/09 - AOS Approval Notice sent - E-mail from CRIS

01/29/09 - AOS touched

01/30/09 - GC arrived in the mail

11/16/10 - Form I-751 filed (Petition for Removal of conditions)

11/19/10 - Application received at VSC

yeah!!!! I was tired of checking my status online so I stop checking it for a while and spend my time with my relatives here. So I just checked it now and it says on nov 7 we ordered a card production. Sounds good. My question is how long does it take to get the card in the mail? I can't wait to have it. I waited almost three mos for it.

I got mine in 6 days, the average is a week :) But 30 days maximum in case they mess up, should be fine though! Congratulations!

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Anyone in August filer had interview first? I don't have my EAD but I already have initial interview in 2 weeks at San Francisco. I'm really confused why I have interview schedule first were most of us here received EAD first. Thank God I don't received any RFE since I only submitted vaccine sheet (DS 3025). Hope they don't ask it during my interview.

Dont worry Sunlyk we have the same case. I have an interview set on Dec 9th and still no EAD and AP. My son's application was sent together with mine, he got an RFE, we sent it back a couple of weeks later, and still his EAD and AP got approved already. Though he doesnt have an interview appointment yet and I really hope we will have the same date as we do not want my husband to be taking 2 days off from work.

Great news guys! Am so glad things are moving along! I have added another column to the AOS sheet to put in the date the interview letters are received as well :D Don't forget to PM updates!! jundp & Hydey - I've updated you guys but if there is anyone I have missed then please PM me and let me know!!

We now have a car which is going to save us a BUNCH of money - we filled up the tank which was empty after driving back from LA and it only cost $24 :o Before, Jeremy would put in about $60 into his van and it would be just under half full :wacko: Still nothing online or in the mail on the EAD front though - boo!!!

On my 693 they are asking for an A #. Do I have that yet? Is it the number that appeared on the NOA2? (797 Petition approved) How many numbers should an A# have?

Your A number is on the NOA2. It starts A#### (not sure how many digits it has).

We don't have EAD yet either, but Patrick got his interview letter yesterday. Interview scheduled for December 10 (International Human Rights day).

I suppose I won't worry about the I 693 since it was already submitted....

In other news, P has a phone interview Wednesday for a software developer job!!!! Of course, he sent out resumes because we were tracking some other person's EAD....hope he gets it soon :)

I did similar thing to similar company ;), send them resume without having EAD. They were interested in phone interview so they called me. Even though, the lady couldn't schedule me for a real interview she promised me I could just send her an e-mail after EAD-receival. Have my EAD for few weeks now and I will be interviewing with that company on Thursday. Even for a better job than I applied for in the first place :). As long as you don't take a job and you're honest with the company it doesn't hurt to apply before you have your EAD. Interview processes might take few months anyway so it makes perfect sense to start looking before you get it.

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On November 11, 2008, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

Wooohoo! And my AP is approved as well. So were now just waiting for my son's interview appointment. I really hope we have the same date, since my son had an RFE, weve got different dates of approval. If we don't, I might still bring my son to my appointment and take the chance of him being interviewed as well.

To those who have not gotten their EAD and AP but received their interview appointment already, dont be bothered as Im sure it will follow soon too. Goodluck also to everyone waiting for theirs.

That's good to know! It's the first interview he's gotten, but he only sent his resumes on Thursday of last week.

My AOS was received August 4th, I got my EAD, but still no interview letter nor touch on the AOS since Oct 2nd... I don't know if it's a good or bad news..

My AOS was received August 4th, I got my EAD, but still no interview letter nor touch on the AOS since Oct 2nd... I don't know if it's a good or bad news..

Since your case was transferred to CSC you probably will not have an interview.
