Gah. We could live without any information on his AOS....we just want/need his EAD. It's getting frustrating supporting everyone on my teacher's salary. I mean, we're making it, sure, but Christmas is coming and well, it's just stressful....

Jundp, have you contacted USCIS customer service center? If you didn't hear from them in the past 75days then you can request a inquiry. That's what I have been told when I called.

Here is the contact number 1-800-375-5283, then follow the instructions. You should be able to explain to them the situation.

Jundp - you're pretty much at the 90-day mark, and if you still don't see any status update online by tonight, it's time to call the USCIS or schedule an Infopass to figure out what's causing the delay in processing your hubby's EAD... I hope you will see it in the mail very soon!!

was my first day at work today. It was good. Even more varied than I thought it would be. So much scope to move on and do other things too. Got to finish early today and early tomorrow but I'm going in on Wed which would usually be a day off for me but it's so I can get all my training done. Today I walked a Husky, a westie, a labrador, a pomerainian, a pug and a couple of mutts, gave meds to several dogs and a 3 week old kitten. Got to assist with minor abcess surgery and got look at blood specimens and ear mites under a microscope, disgusting but interesting. They reckon if a position comes up I could train as a vet technician in 12 months. Also they offer all positions internally before advertising. I really think I'm going to enjoy it, everyone at the clinic is super nice.

In other news, we got our interview letter today for AOS. Interview is December 10th. We made the Infopass appointment for EAD already and we'll keep it unless anything comes between now and then.

So, I wonder....the I-693 medical form? We submitted that with the K1 but we don't have a copy of that....is that a problem?

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

Congrats on getting your EAD, just one minor detail. EADs are only valid for a year. It is the conditional green card which is good for two years.

Mo Mati, i don't know why they gave me a 2 yr EAD card. I'm adjusting status based on marriage and my EAD was processed at NSC while I-485 is still pending at NBC. I know they introduced the 2 yr, but i don't know how they decide on who gets it or who doesn't. I was quite confused as i was expecting 1 yr one like everyone else.

yeah!!!! I was tired of checking my status online so I stop checking it for a while and spend my time with my relatives here. So I just checked it now and it says on nov 7 we ordered a card production. Sounds good. My question is how long does it take to get the card in the mail? I can't wait to have it. I waited almost three mos for it.

You had your biometrics the same day as P, so we must be close on the times. Congrats!

Does anyone know about the I-693? We don't have a copy of that as he had his medical in Frankfurt in April and we submitted the form then....I'm not sure if he needs to have another medical or not?
