05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

Any of you ladies/gentlemen have joint health insurance with your spouses? My Wife got her benefits package through and it's all filled in, we just have to send it off. But because i have no social security number yet, can we submit it as a regular submission online or does she have to call them? What did you all do?

Hello,

Anyone has their AOS application pending at the NBC(national benefits center)? MY I-130, I-485, and I-765 are all pending at this center and I would like to know other people's experiences with this specific center as far as how long it took to receive EAD.

My timeline is as follows:

Hello,

Currently, all applications are pending.

Looking at your NOA date, you might receive your EAD soon. Your biometrics was little late but that ussualy doesn't effect the completion time of your EAD.

03-02-2012-- (09): bio appointment notice sent, bio date 03-15 (23)

The rules for benefit enrollement are set by the health insurance provider so that is up to them. I would say, give them a call. Ask them if you can file it now without SNN and add the SSN later. Otherwise, ask what options there are for adding you after January (i.e. after free enrollment period). Ask them if a written statement from your UK insurance will do. That way you can close your insurance there at any convenient time and use their statement that you don't have health insurance.

I'd talk to her benefits coordinator (probably not the actual title). When I added my husband, he did not yet have an SSN, and they just said to give them the number when he got it. I faxed in the forms, so putting "doesn't yet have one" was an option, whereas with fillable online forms may not even allow you to do that (like the G-325A where it didn't let you put in "present" instead of a numerical date....).
