August filer here. Just got back from my honeymoon, but we filed Aug 4 and the NOA1's came while we were away.

I see Jeraly and Weedebz here too! Oh my, it's taken us a year from filing K1 to filing AOS, eh?

Glad to see you have now had your official wedding

I would put lots of details on AOS so that you actually get it. My Dad ( this is David by the way ) was having major surgery and I needed to tie up lots of loose ends but you do have to be very specific.

We have our interview at the end of October for AOS so fingers crossed I will be a resident real soon B)

Hi Aly. This is an exact copy of mine and I was approved with no problem.

Part 7.

I qualify for an Advance Parole document because I entered the USA on a K1 visa and have submitted an I-485 to adjust my status.

I would like an Advance Parole document so that I may visit my family in the UK whilst awaiting my Adjustment of Status application to be adjudicated.

Ok - forms all filled... now I need to make sure I have all the other gumbo... I am dreading looking for the medical stuff because I don't think the medical place gave me copies

Oh another thing - I can't seem to find anything on the USCIS website about adjusting status from K-1... I hate the site - it is the most annoying and poorly-laid out thing EVER You click through to something and it takes you in a completely different direction to where you want to go... grrr

Anyone know if such an elusive thing exists or am I just getting my hopes up?

Ok - another question!! When submitting the NOA2 - does it have to be within the valid date? Because mine is only valid until the middle of April... AHHHHHHHHH I hate feeling so dumb!!

• Payment for $1,010.00 which includes the biometric fee of $80.00

• I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status:

o Copy of K1 visa/I-94 and biometric passport page

o Copy of birth certificate

o Copy of vaccination supplement (I-693)

o Copy of Fiancee petition Approval Notice (I-797)

o Copy of marriage certificate

o G-325A, Biographic Information (inc. 2 photographs)

• I-864 Affidavit of Support Under Section 213A of the Act x 2

o Supporting financial information for each applicant

• I-864A Contract between Sponsor and Household Member

• I-765 Application for Employment Authorization (inc. 2 photographs)

o Copy of K1 visa/I-94 and biometric passport page

• I-131 Application for Travel Document (inc. 2 photographs)

o Copy of K1 visa/I-94 and biometric passport page

Does this correspond to yours at all? I included a full sheet copy of K1 visa/I-94 and biometric passport page where photo id was required just because it was easier to run off three copies that included all that info whether all was needed or not.

Babbles - it looks like mine (though need to get a ton of copies!) Also need to get a certified copy of our marriage certificate as we didn't do that... I am guessing a notarised copy isn't the same?

As for the I-693... I am a bit confused - I just posted in the stickied thread if anyone is interested, but by some of the info on the USCIS website, I don't actually need to get my HPV vaccine because I had my medical before June 1st this year!!! Go check it out and see what you think cause I just think it sounds too good to be true!! Here is all my info so far:

I am reading the same info about the vaccination supplement, so it looks like good news! Also, some people have been approved just sending DS-3025 rather than having a civil surgeon do the I-693A translation. I'm taking my chances - an RFE will only cost me as much time as I will lose now by having to get that sorted.

As far as the certified marriage certificate goes, I-485 asks for a 'copy' and in the initial instructions it states that only certified copies are required where 'certified copy' is stated. I have certified copies but I'm sending a photocopy.
