We received EAD in the mail Friday. :D

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Wow...I don't check in for a few days and look at everything that has happened! Congratulations on all the approvals, those who have had success with SSN and JOBS, and for those who are pregnant!! Just awesome!

We have nothing that new...in the search for a job. First set of resumes are out there, seeing if there are any bites.

I am happy that more August filers are now approved. I hope to have some news from the USCIS too. Yesterday was my birthday, and I received a sweet and wonderful birthday gift - I found out i am pregnant! I need to find a work soon.

Congratulations that's a double celebration! :) So far no touches for my case yet since 9/02. I was thinking they will after my biometrics :(

Thank you all for the well wishes :) I just hope USCIS will give me my EAD soon - that would really be a wonderful gift.

It's a good thing to know that those who filed the first week of august have now approved EAD...hopefully immigration will also care to pick my file and give me an approval.

Guys I got a JOB!!!!!!!!!!! at GAP. I start next week, this Wednesday I got my orientation and next week I begin. Its part time cause thats all they have right now, but at least I can take two part time jobs...(2 paychecks)

And to you too, JJ!!!!

Maybe I'll join you all soon with news that a) we're pregnant or B) Patrick got a job

USCIS knows you are doing great job keeping track on all August filers, so they decided to keep you here as long as they can... :devil:

I had a dream tonight, I was opening a letter from MSC with the interview date Dec 01st.... so we could go to UK to spend X-mas with my family. Woke up and thought...oh, s**t, I didn't look up what year the Dec 01st date was.... well, keep dreaming..

Do you know the timeframe for being scheduled for an interview at the Mount Laurel office in NJ?

Hi guyz:

I have a quick question about AOS interview. Does the notice of interview come both to the lawyer and the applicant or to applicant only and second does it come in A USCIS envelope or plain envelope like EAD. Any one who had their interview kindly advise, esp from Mount laurel NJ.
