Still nothing for me too! There is no any updates since my Biometrics.

They promised me a Job in Sephore and I should start by the end of this month and now I am woried that there is no chance to receive my EAD on time and I will lose my Job Oportunity. :(

sorry to hear that but just think that when you received your EAD then other job opportunity will open to you and much more promising as the former one... hopefully we'll get news soon... and more approval notice in mail coz we don't see our case online moving... we have to be positive now... we still have month to wait... good luck to us...

Same here. My case is viewable online but no touches since they send me my Bio appointment. They didn't even touch it after i took my Biometrics. I see people with same timeline as mine already receiving their EAD cards. My AOS is in MSC, however my EAD application was transferred to NSC, i don't know why they send it there, but might be because it was first rejected because i used the wrong form.

well we have nothjing to do but to wait... you are still in the time frame anyways... but i don't understand too why they don't even update our case online.. it just puzzles me... did you apply for AP? but i'm hoping we will get positive news soon...

maybe that's the reason why they transferred your case to NSC coz of the wrong form...anyway... let's just be positive for now...good luck...

I did not apply for AP, since i overstayed my F1 status and don't plan to travel until they approve my AOS. And i hope they do it sooner, and at least meanwhile they should send us our EADs. Goodluck to you too and everyone on this AOS Journey :bonk: .

Application Type: I765, APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION

Current Status: Card production ordered.

The case online mentions that I should receive the card in 30 days. What is the normal timeline for receiving the card?

I was starting to worry as my TN is expiring Dec end. I was planning to start preparing my boss with possibility of not coming to work if EAD doesn't come in time.

Good luck to other August Filers waiting for EAD and thanks for support.

About 2 weeks, mine was approved on the 3rd and it got here on the 14th.

How does the whole DL thing work anyway... I never figured out why you needed the EAD for it... :wacko:

I guess they need to verify your legal presence in US..not so sure :whistle:

We got P's DL the day after he got here. No problems. The guy at the DMV took his K1 and Passport and his German DL. Then they verified my address and name (from the K1) and I signed a form stating that he really was my fiance and that he had moved to the US. That was it. Got his 5 year DL too.

Now if we could just get that EAD.....his thesis is being sent to Germany tomorrow so now he's ready to work! Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.

HI all! Anybody else got their Interview appointment? I got mine last week but on the USCIS website my case is still "received and pending" I wonder why they don't update the info. Also I'm still waiting on my EAD, probably I won't even get it before my interview next month. I am a little worried that I didn't hear of anybody from August fillers having the interview appointment, I don't know if it's a bad sign for me. Good luck to all!

Is your timeline correct?

Did you file I-130 a month after I-485?

Hope so, no I filed I-130 tigether with I-485. I sent the I-765 a month later because it was rejected at first.

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

My I-485 got touched yesterday after the case processing has been resumed (after the RFE)... So I hope there won't be any further delays... Let's hope we all get some good news soon! :D
