August 2008 AOS Filers

Hi All:

I got my Biometrics Appointment Letter for Aug 28th 2008. My Notice was sent on Aug 08th recived on Aug 12th. Yesterday I received NOA on I130-I485-I131 and I765. Is it possible I can walk in before the appointed date. It is scheduled in Drummond Road Philidelphia , anyone has any experience to reschedule it before time in that offfice. kindly let me know

w00t Debz! I thought you were going to be a July filer again and I was gutted!! I am hoping to get all my AOS stuff off by the end of the month but right now I can't even find the right thing to look up in the Yellow Pages to get my HPV sorted out... I've tried Medical Centers (or similar), General Practitioners, Doctor... Doctor doesn't even exist in the Yellow Pages!! Yet there are about a zillion pages of Dentists - go figure!!

I'm going to try google but if anyone has any advice then please please please let me know how to use the darn phone book!!!!

Ok - I think I found it after calling the local medical center... Physicians... now I have a billion to look through... dangit - I'm going to be 27 in six months - this really sucks!

Ok - Ob/Gyns seem to know what I am on about which is something... what a nightmare... best I have so far is $160 per injection

Of course, after the stupid phoning people fiasco I think I need it!! I HATE phoning people here because no-one understands me... it is really weird how you notice the very subtle differences in language between the UK and US when you are on the phone... I keep saying cheers!!

HPV - it is cheaper to get it done here in the US so I waited but now I need it for AOS because I am not 27 yet and it really sucks... cheapest I found so far is $160 and I have had enough of phoning for the moment

She's looking for the HPV vaccine.

However, I noticed that you, Jeraly, had your medical on 4/8/08. It doesn't look like you need this though... Did a Civil Surgeon tell you that you needed it??

I was informed at my medical that they can approve the K-1 without the medical requirements but that these were required to adjust status so I don't think there is any getting around it... will look more into it though but think I am stuck with it

We're still getting our #######...err, I mean, our paperwork...together to file for AOS, but I'm pretty sure we will be August filers. Can I have some popcorn too or do I have to file first?
