Maybe yours will be seen online soon. Mine finally came on today for the I-485. Anyway, It said that a RFE letter was sent out :angry: . Now i am starting to think that I was better off not knowing my status. I wish i had gotten the letter first cause I am just going to worry about what the RFE is all about.

Sorry to hear it's an RFE. At the very least you know someone is working on your file. I hope its something you can easily rectify then they'll get working on your case again as soon as you've sent back what they want! :)

Ahhh ####### i got touched on my I-485 too with an RFE... i think it will be for the medical I-693 i didn't send, but hopefully nothing else. *panics* Nothing else has been updated, will this affect the processing of my I-765?

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Now that you mentioned I think its for my I-693. The last time i called USCIS about my case status I was transfered to an officer and he said something about medical under his breath. I just want this to be over.

good news :-)

35 days after my NOA1, my i-485 FINALLY appeared on cris!!! it says my case was transferred to CSC on sept 18th. i-765 still cannot be retrieved but it such a relief that i at least have a clue on whats going on with one of my case.

AOS

5/28/08 - POE San Francisco

6/6/08 - Married

07/12/08 - received SS card

08/08/08 - sent AOS and EAD application

08/11/08 - delivered at Chicago

8/18/08 - received NOA for AOS and EAD (dated 8/14/08)

08/23/08 - received Bio Appt Letter for 09/06/08

8/28/08 - walked-in for Biometrics

9/18/08- case transferred to California. (i485 viewable online)

Oct 3,6,7, 2008 - i485 touched

10/13/08 - EAD card ordered for production

10/16/08 - EAD card ordered for production again (??)

10/21/08 - EAD approval letter sent

10/22/08 - EAD card in hand!

10/27/08 - temporary driver's license (waiting on card..)

10/30/08 - Job offer :-)

11/03/08 - First day at work! whoohoo!!

11/22/08 - received drivers license card

01/12/08- AOS touched after 3 months

02/18/09 - GC production ordered!!!

Congratulations on the transfers, Shan and Stu and Aappllee!

My husband got to the office for his biometrics appointment yesterday about 40 minutes early. There was no one else there and they took him in right away. He said everyone there was super nice, which is good to know, since they will be the same ones interviewing us for AOS if we don't get transferred.

He said everyone there was super nice, which is good to know, since they will be the same ones interviewing us for AOS if we don't get transferred.

Highly unlikely those people will be the one doing the interview.

ASC and USCIS Local office are totally different animals.

ASC people are contracted company and usually there is only one (sometimes two) USCIS agent on duty at the ASC at time in case some problem arises.

Usually there is also one ICE officer on duty as well (for security) - like sheriff's police in courts:)

And yeah - there is still nothing online for me either. It's like being in a black hole of the unknown. Very annoying but owel. Expecting medical RFE as well so :D

My I-485 got touched yesterday 9/18/08 - We got an email saying our case was sent to CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER. I hope we wont have an interview for AOS.

08-18-08 - NOA for EAD,AP and AOS
08-21-08 - Received Biometrics Appointment Letter
09-09-08 - Biometrics Appointment 10am Kansas City
