Good Morning AOS August filiers

Hubby's AOS was transferred to CSC on September 10th. Would have know sooner, but I haven't gone through my mail since Friday. So, that's my news and joy for the day. Come on, we need more good news like this. Prayer for all.

Great news. Congrats to the transfers to CSC. I'm glad you posted, I was wondering if they sent VSC AOSs to CSC as well. Now, I know. :thumbs:

Yes, babes they do. I pray for all of use everyday. I'm praying that I'll be blessed like one of my friends who received their greencard before the EAC or AP. Either way, I know this is a waiting game. It's funny, I don't even check the USCIS website anymore (forgot my password) I guess I would have know last Wednesday that it was transferred. I think we make ourselves crazy when we do that. Many blessings.

My husband got his Illinois drivers license today. He was so excited about it that he came to my office at noon to show me. That was good because it meant I got him to take me out for lunch!

called uscis again today to check on my case. i was expecting them to say the same BS but i called anyway hoping they'll say something relevant to my case....

the agent asked me some protocol questions and when it got to receipt #s she said she cant see them on the system. i said, "could that be why i cant see them online?". she then said only the supervisor could help me at this point. so she transferred the call. after few verification questions, the officer asked why i was calling today. i asked why i cant see my cases online (i knew he'd say something like "pls allow time" or "there's a glich"). sure enough he said there's a glich. hahahaha. then i went on to ask if he can see the last activity on the case. i said politely, "i know the case is pending but i was just wondering if you can see specific actions taken like a RFE being mailed or if the case is tranferred to california service center." he said, "pending means pending. it means its being worked on. and FYI, NO CASE FROM CHICAGO IS TRANSFERRED TO CALIFORNIA EVER."

i told myself that this guy does not know what he's saying and its time to hung up.

its funny how he said introduced himself as an immigration officer and yet he doesnt know what he's talking about. "no case from chicago is transferred to california ever"..... haha, whatever officer, you're clueless.

11/03/08 - First day at work! whoohoo!!

Ok - a bit later than anticipated due to the new and unexpected arrival of a three month old rescue kitten who is currently living in our bathroom in order to comply with introducing-new-kitten-to-the-resident-cat rules that are all over :lol: He is very cute and I will try to get some pics tomorrow but for now I am trying to not answer his every call!!!

The spreadsheet is all up to date so if you spot anything awry, then gimme a shout!! Looks like our transfers are up to three! Way to go guys!

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Don't lose your mind. That wouldn't be a good thing. It will get here soon. I signed my husband up for some non-credited classes at a community college, so he's not going nuts in the house. He goes to school from 9:30 - 1:30 and he loves it. He's meeting people from different parts of the world.

Awww! Congratulations on your new furbaby, Jeraly! I think my husband is glad our dog doesn't get along with other animals. If she would accept a furry brother or sister, I'd probably have about 5 or 6 dogs and 10 cats by now.

No real updates here. My husband's biometrics appointment is tomorrow, and he is going to the DMV to register his car in Illinois today. I'm going to go for a half-hour power walk on a trail near here for my lunch break instead of meeting my husband for lunch. What's really sad and pathetic is that I will actually miss him (he was still sleeping when I left this morning). I'm like a puppy with separation anxiety. :rolleyes:

Thanks! It's been interesting - my cat doesn't hate me but she is a little p*ssed off I think!! She is on the bed at the moment so I can't go in to see the little guy although I did spend some time with him earlier - I don't want her to think she is being neglected so she has to realise that this is still her house and I still love her. The little guy peed on the bath mat this morning which was fun!! I was mopping up pee at 7am with tissue so I could put it in his litter tray then I had to disinfect the floor. Of course, now we have a baby kitty that smells of male cat pee which my other cat *really* didn't like - they crossed paths this morning when the little guy ran up to her when she was eating and she warned him away. He jumped up onto the sofa back which is Daisy's territory so she swatted him! He's back in the bathroom now so he can learn that is his safe place but I feel sooo mean! Everyone in the UK forum is saying it will take about a week to settle down though...

As for news, I just checked and am still not online :( Maybe I will check again a little later in case they update it then...

Hi guys!!!! I just want your opinion on this I had my biometrics done on 9/10 and that same day I had a touch on both I-485 and I-765 so that is for sure because of the biometrics. I just checked my satus online and I got a touch today exactly 1 week after biometrics for my I-485 only not on I-765. But then my I-485 still shows that my appliocation is still on national benefits center and pending. I'm expecting though that this could mean a transfer. I based it from the timeline of those who got their i-485 transferred to CSC and they are all 1 week after biometrics. I'm just confused why the status of my case is still not updated and shows pending even though I got a touched. I'm worried too that I might get an RFE but I believe I submitted all and completed all the requirements needed. So what do you think guys?
