Oh sorry, Jeraly. I totally flaked. We got our check cashed, NOA1s, and biometrics appointment. I will PM you right now (might take a few minutes).

Right now I am stressing more about my wedding than USCIS for a change. Seriously, what is with the people I know? I sent out 45 invitations and only 27 have responded. Get with the program, people! Gaaaaahhhh! (Today was the deadline and I just had to send my florist a check via overnight mail and my mom has to have a head count for the caterer Friday.) And please excuse the rant---I can't vent about this on the other message board I use because a few of the people there are among the guests who have not returned their rsvp thingies.

I can relate too! my wife is planning our wedding next Aug 21st. We have a little over 200 guests and it drive me crazy. All the planning that is involved is actually stressful even for guys!

Don't let the choices chose you, chose the choices that you want.

USCIS too efficient

Just a little ironic twist in the AOS process... My wife and I worked feverishly to get the AOS application packet filed before Labor Day but it looks like we worked a little too fast- we got our biometrics appointment right in the middle of when our honeymoon was scheduled. So this September 23rd instead of being on the sandy beaches of florida we will be in a biometrics office in Queens. Goes to show that it dosent always pay to be a hard worker...

Good luck to everyone playing the USCIS waiting game

Conditional green card issued 30 January 2009

Removal of Conditions timeline:

10 November 10: sent I-751 package via Express Mail to VSC

15 November 10: receipt date of NOA 1, arrived on the 19th

28 December 10: Biometrics scheduled in Elizabeth, NJ

29 March 10: Approval e-mail received from VSC

Have you already cancelled your honeymoon? Consider either trying a walk in appointment or rescheduling.

Yes, by all means you can reschedule the biometrics! I don't have the letter with me but I believe it actually gave us a number to call if we needed to reschedule. We were concerned that would happen to us, too, as we have to travel for the actual wedding with all our friends and families next month.

All this talk about food is making me hungry.
