Here in small town Nebraska there are no places to get hobnobs, real cadbury's or anything from back home. The nearest is world market 3hrs away in Omaha.

06/21/2007 - petition mailed....finally

07/09/2007 - NOA1 (hard copy 07/11/2007)

11/13/2007 - NOA2...127days after filing (hard copy 11/17/07)

12/22/2007 - packet 3 rec. (12/28/2007 returned)

01/11/2008 - medical (allergic to tetanus shot, requirement waived)

02/05/2008 - interview @ 10am - APPROVED!!!!!!

03/12/2008 - Flying Glasgow - Dublin - Chicago - Omaha

05/31/2008 - WEDDING

AOS

07/31/2008 - AOS and EAD finally mailed

08/02/2008 - Delivered

08/08/2008 - Check cleared

08/11/2008 - NOA1's for AOS and EAD recieved (reciept date 08/07/2008)

08/16/2008 - Biometrics letter recieved

09/09/2008 - Biometrics at 1pm, Omaha

09/26/2008 - AOS transferred to CSC

09/29/2008 - AOS touched (took out envelope at CSC and put in new pile)

10/03/2008 - AOS touched (probably that RFE coming soon!!!!)

10/06/2008 - AOS touched AGAIN!!! (surely it's an RFE)

10/15/2008 - EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED!!!!YEY!!!

10/27/2008 - EAD IN HAND

01/12/2009 - AOS touched

01/26/2009 - Email from CRIS. GREENCARD PRODUCTION ORDERED..YIPPPPEEE

ROC

10/25/2010 - ROC mailed

11/15/2010 - NOA1 and check cashed

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

I got my biometrics appointment! And luckily it's in town. I thought I was going to have to travel to Fresno.

Hobnobs are available online here. Not sure how the price compares with World Market etc. though.

I'm getting so tired of waiting.............I going to cook something, take my mind of things.

It's only been just over a month - I wouldn't start stressing out just yet :D Make the most of the time you have :)

Cooking however is good - I don't do it enough because our kitchen is sooo tiny and heats up so much that it is unbearable to be in there for any length of time!!! But check out allrecipes.com - I'm on there at the moment rating recipes we have tried and adding ones I like and/or want to try into different folders in my recipe box :D

Oh sorry, Jeraly. I totally flaked. We got our check cashed, NOA1s, and biometrics appointment. I will PM you right now (might take a few minutes).

Right now I am stressing more about my wedding than USCIS for a change. Seriously, what is with the people I know? I sent out 45 invitations and only 27 have responded. Get with the program, people! Gaaaaahhhh! (Today was the deadline and I just had to send my florist a check via overnight mail and my mom has to have a head count for the caterer Friday.) And please excuse the rant---I can't vent about this on the other message board I use because a few of the people there are among the guests who have not returned their rsvp thingies.

Nice, thanks Jeraly! I'll take a look at it tomorrow. I'm actually a pro Chef, I kinda stopped cooking a while back. I worked for a 5 star hotel some years ago. Our kitchen is pretty nice, today I made a pizza dough for my wife.

I could give you a couple of spanish recipes and some latin recipes.
