Anyone have any news?

No update mate but i'm gonna attempt a walk-in biometrics on friday as it will fit in much much better with my Wife's work schedule.

On thing I forgot to mention: Go between 1:30 and 2pm its usually when there is less people. I've past by there alot.

Anyone have any news?

can't view my case online so i called uscis today. the agent transferred my call to his supervisor without me asking for one. unfortunately, the supervisor told me things i already knew such as the date when they received the case and when i had my biometrics. i told him that i wouldnt be calling only if i can view my case online. he said, "try again later. don't worry. i see that your case is pending."

sigh.....

5/28/08 - POE San Francisco

6/6/08 - Married

07/12/08 - received SS card

08/08/08 - sent AOS and EAD application

08/11/08 - delivered at Chicago

8/18/08 - received NOA for AOS and EAD (dated 8/14/08)

08/23/08 - received Bio Appt Letter for 09/06/08

8/28/08 - walked-in for Biometrics

9/18/08- case transferred to California. (i485 viewable online)

Oct 3,6,7, 2008 - i485 touched

10/13/08 - EAD card ordered for production

10/16/08 - EAD card ordered for production again (??)

10/21/08 - EAD approval letter sent

10/22/08 - EAD card in hand!

10/27/08 - temporary driver's license (waiting on card..)

10/30/08 - Job offer :-)

11/03/08 - First day at work! whoohoo!!

11/22/08 - received drivers license card

01/12/08- AOS touched after 3 months

02/18/09 - GC production ordered!!!

Biometrics done. It takes 3 hrs to get to Omaha from Grand Island and we allowed extra time for Husker Harvest Days traffic. Got there at 12pm, my appointment was 1pm but I was out by 12.20pm. The Omaha office is quite quiet. The security guys are really funny and welcoming. Whole thing was no more than 15mins from entering the building to leaving.

Best part was....went to world market and got hobnobs and lion bars!!!!

They also sell hobnobs and lion bars in Stop N' Shop, congrats on the biometrics!! Good luck

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Had my biometrics done today. Hubby has to take a day off work (without pay :( ) to drive me to USCIS office in KC.

It took a long time for my finger prints to register (the lady has to ask if i do a lot of things with my little fingers :) - beautiful hands are those that work right :yes: . We hope for a fast GC and /or EAD approval for me and for all August Filers :)

I can't see our case online either. But I'm not particularly upset about it. I wonder if I should be? :unsure: Nah! I'm good. I'll just keep waiting for biometrics and hopefully my case will progress faster than the K1 did. Fingers crossed! :D I need to decide the design for my office before Bassi gets a job. I need to utilize the honey-do list while it's not being trumped by a paying job outside the house!

Can see our AOS, AP, and EAD online. I don't know if that is good or not. I'd expect to get touches sometime after hubby's biometrics appointments and then not much of anything for another month or two. I don't know if I will be able to stop myself from checking three times a day like I did when CSC was processing our I-129F. Maybe...since at least now we are together.
