Zee!! Glad to see u around again! :-)

Guys! I have a question! I got an appointment notice: Case Type I485 for biometrics. That was last wednesday. I went with my husband but he really didn't need to be there cause he just waited for me and they only wanted people who had to be processed so a few days ago we got another appointment notice: I765 FOR biometrics! AGAIN????

I had to resend my EAD cause it was rejected due to out of dated. Now I realize that in the notice EAD notice they sent has a different case number than from the REJECTION NOTICE they sent me....is that ok?

Is it ok to have two biometrics appointment? One form I485 and another one for I765?????

Hope somebody can help me out!

Yep its how it goes. SOme have their biometrics done at the same time with one biometrics appointment letter for AOS & EAD, other have separate biometrics appointment for each application.Each , AOS & EAD had separate receipt numbers, bUt the receipt number must be the same from Notice1 and biometrics appointment letter of each. :thumbs:

Thanks for the fast response!!! :-)

I'm wondering, the 1st notice I got after I sent my EAD was the rejection notice with this particular receipt number. I resent it and got another notice saying the received my EAD but with another receipt number and this number is also in the EAD biomtrics appt......

Any ideas? Is that ok? No? YEs? :blink:

Actually I have a new NOA1 for my EAD too. SO long as your new receipt number for EAD matches the receipt number in your EAD biometrics appointment then thats fine. :star:

Hi Guys. A Smith is normal! I have her signature in my files ;) V Harris also signs for mail in Chicago.

I did file my AOS in Agust as well...

I got my NOAs for AOS, EAD and AP yesterday. Whoo Hoo! I also got biometrics appt for both AOS and EAD. Everything is settled in my mind now. I can comfortably wait. :D

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

I sent my wife's AOS application on Aug 29th.

USCIS picked it up yesterday.

Yes, yesterday.

It was Labor day!!!

Can you belive USCIS working on Labor day? :wow:

And the time stamp said 9:21 pm.

Anyway... the waiting begins.

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

Kewlies - lots of movement in here :) I'm just not stressing about the stupid website - it's not going to make my case process any faster and after waiting five months for NOA2 during K-1 I think I am pretty good at the whole waiting game ;) I'll just check every day until it updates - if it even does :)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

Congrats to all who are getting movement on their AOS applications.

Just over a thousand dollars left our joint account yesterday. Dunno whether to be happy about that or not because now I am broke :P Roll on EAD!
