B&Z - I got the NOAs in the mail on Saturday and checked (again) to see if the check was cashed and it had been cashed on the Friday :) I had checked earlier but it didn't show up!!

Hmmm..........Okay, well my check was cashed but I haven't received the NOA's yet. But Chicago is soooooo far away from NY, I suppose it could simply be delayed. Maybe Gustav slowed mail coming out of Chicago? :wacko:

The usual delivery times for the tri-state area is about 4 to 5 days after they send off your NOA's. I know cause I live in NJ. So don't worry too much.

Thanks. I'm not actually in the tristate area. lol. people always think the rest of NY state doesn't exist. But we're up here. Just chillin'. Waiting for NOAs. :)

Called USCIS 4/1/2009 told no status change and case not yet reviewed from RFE request.

Received green card: 4/3/2009

Well our check was cashed on 29th and we got our NOAs dated 27th so who knows ;)

I'm not expecting to see any movement on our cases yet either but it would be nice to check - the fact that there are so many of us with the same situation speaks volumes though - maybe they'll update all at once?

I know about the whole case status thing online - I just kinda want to see it to find out when/if anything happens to it :)

We got our NOA1s in the mail, about a week after they received our packet and cashed our checks. I also tried to add our numbers to our portfolio on the USCIS website but it wouldnt let me. The numbers werent in the system yet. It took about a week for the numbers to get into the system and added. keep trying to add them and you will hit it.

I would hope so!!! I called the USCIS a while ago an they told me that I should have some news within 45 days of filing about my I-765. In other words we're working and you'll get some news soon. Even though I can't see my f****** case!

So just sit tight......this is getting so frustrating to sit and not knowing anything.

This really worries me... we sent our AOS on 25th August also, no checks cashed and haven't heard anything back so far :S:S:S:S I'm suffering from anxiety here

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

I sent my wife's AOS application on Aug 29th.

USCIS picked it up yesterday.

Yes, yesterday.

It was Labor day!!!

Can you belive USCIS working on Labor day? :wow:

And the time stamp said 9:21 pm.

Anyway... the waiting begins.

11/04/10 I-751 submitted to VSC by express mail.

11/05/10 VSC received the package.

11/08/10 NOA1 date

11/12/10 Check cashed, NOA1 hardcopy received.

12/31/10 Bio letter received. Finally!! Sechduled for 1/25/11.

01/12/11 Early Bio

03/29/11 ROC approved.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

I am wondering whether or not to try a walk-in like you and some people here. My husband is a little worried about that and told me to wait. I am seriously considering going there tomorrow.

Just got my NOA1 for AOS, AP, and EAD today (02 Sept). However, they rejected my EAD application due to expired application =X, guess I need to refile for that. I hope they dont send a RFE for my I-864 Affidavit of Support since its not a current version either. I goofed up and forgot to check form dates =(

Go ahead and try it. Be very very very humble though. The worst it could happen is they tell you to come back the day of your appointment.

Guys! I have a question! I got an appointment notice: Case Type I485 for biometrics. That was last wednesday. I went with my husband but he really didn't need to be there cause he just waited for me and they only wanted people who had to be processed so a few days ago we got another appointment notice: I765 FOR biometrics! AGAIN????

I had to resend my EAD cause it was rejected due to out of dated. Now I realize that in the notice EAD notice they sent has a different case number than from the REJECTION NOTICE they sent me....is that ok?

Is it ok to have two biometrics appointment? One form I485 and another one for I765?????

Hope somebody can help me out!
