Hi everyone I just got my mail today and it say's I'll be having my biometrics on september 13 which is saturday.. are they open on saturday?

Hi most ASC office where you will take your biometrics are open from tuesday to saturday.. Good luck dont forget your passport..that NOA and marriage certificate in case Have a nice one :)

Oct 14, 2008---EAD1 CARD ARRIVES! Approval date is Oct. 2, 2008

Dec 10, 2008---INTERVIEW DAY! APPROVED!!!

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

I got all three NOAs in the mail - I wasn't expecting that!! I didn't realise I would get so excited about it!! :D

Yeaaahhhhh!!! I'm so excited for you!! I just got my check cashed! I feel like I should go check my mailbox again, but I know it's still empty. No undercover stealth mail delivery at 11 at night! (at least not in Upstate NY)

:lol: I do the same thing though - I check the mail on Sundays!! Mostly because I forget what day it is but still!! It was so good as well as we had our housewarming party last night so it was a really good reason to celebrate!

Of course, I have checked all three number things on the USCIS website and nothing... I figure it might take a while to show but I sooo hope I am not one of the unlucky (???) few that don't get status updates!!!!!

Don't worry I'm on that boat. I got my NOA's and I can't see ####### online. It gives me a message; "case retrieval failed. So just hang in there, I was starting to get pissed, but I decided to take it easy and wait for the mail to eventually come.... :devil:

I probably shouldn't care if we can see our case online. I mean, at least we're together. But I suppose old habits die hard :) I spent A LOT of time checking our case before he got his visa....

It would be nice to be able to see your case online. It's what I would want for my case, which I can't see nor do I know if they've touched my case or transfered me.

I sent my AOS out on the 25th... last Tuesday, i haven't heard anything back yet. It was signed on the morning of the 26th by A.Smith, is this normal?

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Yeah - it seems to be taking around a week to ten days or so to get NOA and our check didn't show as cashed until the day after they cashed it. Plus it is a holiday weekend so post is slow and there is prolly noone in the offices (if there are anyway :lol: )

I know about the whole case status thing online - I just kinda want to see it to find out when/if anything happens to it :)

Haha....yeah I do the same for my wife: I clean, cook, do the laundry but after doing this since May I'm just getting tired. We have gone out alot this summer so I can't complain at all.

Yup, we should enjoy it....

Lets hope it arrives sometime soon.

My husband is also BORED out of his mind waiting for EAD. I feel for all of you waiting. Since May for him as well! :) Patience, patience. He can NOT wait to start working again!

AOS & getting the SSN & the I-693

6/13/08 Applied for SSN for David ----- TRIP 1; 6/23/08 Went back to SSA 'cuz the person didn't pc all documents (rec'd letter from them) ----- TRIP 2

7/2/08 Received David's health insurance cards! Yay!

7/3/08 Went back to SSA; they said come back 7/9 if he still hasn't received it ----- TRIP 3

7/8/08 Got list of vaccines he still needed from CS by fax/phone; tested for immunity to MMR (only vaccine still needed) at our family dr

7/9 & 7/10/08 Went back to SSA, card still not received - Denied opportunity to apply for replacement ----- TRIP 4; Went back to SSA again to apply for a replacement card - Talked to a supervisor this time, POE people entered his last name incorrectly ----- TRIP 5; went to get David's ID thru the State, denied - instructions wrong on website; measles test inconclusive, another test needed; requested new lease

7/14/08 SSA called me in regards to problems at local SSA office

7/15/08 INFOPASS appt to fix POE name input error and then went to airport to fix POE name error

7/17/08 Received SSN card in mail and went to get state ID

7/21/08 State ID received in the mail and tested again for measles immunity

7/29/08 MMR shot #2 given and dropped off papers at Civil Surgeon (CS)

7/31/08 Picked up I-693, completed by local CS, (I paid $25, don't be fooled)

8/3 - 8/6/08 Worked on forms I-485, G-325A, I-864, I-765 and I-131; sent to Chicago - YESSS!

8/11/08 NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP; 9/2/08 Transfered to CSC; 9/4/08 Biometrics

10/24/08 Rec'd AP; 10/27/08 Rec'd EAD; 11/24/08 Rec'd GC

We applied August 17 got our NOA ....3 of them.....August 21,,,,,and got our biometrics appointment for September 17th but he is going crazy doing no work.....He told me the other day he felt like a nanny.....I have 2 of my children at home with me........He is being such a good sport but for a man who has worked or gone to college since he was 17 this has been really hard on his mind and ego.....but at least we are making some progress.........
