They haven't cashed my check yet. How long before they cashed your checks guys? I thought a week was good. They got my package on Saturday, so it's been about 5 days. I keep checking, but a watched pot never boils. I'm gonna stop logging on to the bank. Soon, they'll call to ask me what I'm doing.

Thanks for your early reply. I copied and pasted the instruction from the I-130 regarding the instruction for the G-325a. I guess the way I read is that since my husband is the petitioner and he's the one filling out the information on the I-130, he just needs to sign and date the G-325a. You're right anyway, if anything they will send me an RFE. I just want to get my EAD and start working, these walls are beginning to get to me.

D. A completed and signed Form G-325A, Biographic Information, for you and a Form G-325A for your husband or wife. Except for your name and signature you do not have to repeat on Form G-325A the information given on your Form I-130 petition.

Unfortunately, you can't always follow the instructions. USCIS doesn't seem to. Try asking your question in the K3 or CR/IR forum. Someone there who has filled out the forms recently may be able to tell you if they received an RFE or not. Then you can just prepare the forms if you need to.

My husband is also ready to go out and work, but he does have a temporary EAD so he's not quite as stuck. He's just waiting on his driver's license at this point. Good Luck!

i walked-in the asc office at brandon, fl today. my biometrics appt is on sept 6 but we still drove down there to try if they will let me in. no other immigrants were in the office so they took we in. the receptionist gave me the form. i was done with everything in 5mins. :-)

Hello August filers...I just want to ask if you guys undergone the new revise vaccination requirements for AOS? coz we were supposed to file this month too but we might file next month (September) coz I was asked to have my TB and HPV shot...have u undergone that too? please help!!!! thanks!!!

I think it depends on when you had your medical in your home country - I don't have the link to hand but there is a section on the USCIS website that says if you had your medical before June 1 2008 then you do not have to comply with the new vaccine regs - does anyone have the link to this as I have lost it (very helpful!). As it stands, I didn't get any extra vaccines and just sent off the package with the DS-3025 (copy) - I figure the worst that can happen is I get an RFE, but if I don't need the vaccines then we can save a bunch of money

You can check the August AOS spreadsheet (link in siggie). I don't think our check ha been cashed yet either and it arrived four days ago - haven't checked the bank yet today though so let me see... Nope - still nothing

Good going! another successful walk-in done. If alot of people start doing this USCIS will eventually ban anyone entering unless they have a scheduled date.

I'm also from Tampa and waiting on my biometrics appointment. It's good to hear that you were able to do that. I'm going to try the same once I get my letter. :-)

By the way .. great choice of date to get married 06/06/08! I got married the same date :-D .. We had an intimate beach wedding at Treasure Island. Although it rained a lot there that day .. we were still able to have the wedding at a pavilion by the beach and took some beautiful sunset pictures on the beach! It was amazing!!

My Dear Friend ..

I am in the same position as you .. :-) bored .. but at least taking care of my husband and being able to do a lot for him .. breakfast, dinner, laundry .. cleaning the house .. you name it! :-)

I actually just came to my home town in a different state to visit my parents for the weekend. So I am here for a few days .. just enjoying the time off. You should do the same .. go somewhere .. travel .. beach .. I don't know. Let's just enjoy it for now while we are not working .. cuz once we do .. that's it! :-)

Probably a stupid question but here it goes.

I just mailed our AOS packet ( ) but noticed that I put "Department of Homeland Security" instead of "US Department of Homeland Security" on the check

Is this going to be an issue?
