Current Status: Card production ordered.

WOO-HOO! Congratulations! :dance::dance::dance:

Yes we are still waiting. I called USCIS last week and told them that our case was outside the normal processing time. The person at USCIS agreed but she said they can not look at the case because my senator had contacted them March 10 requesting info and I must wait until May 11 before contacting them again.

The key is that 'you' must wait, your senator doesn't have to ;) Are they willing to pester them again? Some of the senator's immigration liaison workers are like bulldogs and won't leave USCIS alone until they approve the case. Waiting this long without any RFEs is BS - you were out of regular processing time in February by my maths.

Have you considered getting in touch with the CIS Ombudsman?

Thao; I went through the Senator's office because they were giving me the runaround...they replied to the Senator's office and told us we were in FBI checks and we must wait 6 months to 1 year, which is what they told us January, plus some other BS, so we just waited. I wrote the Senator back and thank her for the inquiry and also let her know that this concerns me because many people were told so many different things by USCIS. I created an outline with dates and times that I called and I was told they didn't have my case, but I had a receipt number, then it was not in the system, then it wasn't transferred (even though I had a receipt that said otherwise), then all I-485 have to be interviewed and cases do not get transferred, so bascially, alot of MISSINFORMATION. I sent that letter 8 days ago. I was surprise with the approval.

Bio. Appt. : 2011-06-24

Had to make an Info Pass appointment because there was a delay in receiving the NOA for our I-751. Never found out the reason for the delay but they gave Thao a 1 year green card stamp in her passport and we got a the NOA 2 days later.

Approved: 2011-09-23
