I don't know. I called them this morning to find out what's going on and they're telling me that all I-485 are required to have an interview and that they have no record of my case being transferred to california and that is still pending. I told the person that I have a letter stating that it was transferred to California and the person said that was a mistake, I said okay, have a nice day. I didn't feel like hearing anymore BS.

These people really have no clue what they are doing.

Sarah and I were in and out in 10 minutes, the lady was so nice. Green card in the mail in 10-14 days! She took my I-94 and gave me an envelope to return the EAD once the green card arrives!

Congrats to everyone that got their approvals!

Paul and I got my AOS Approval NOA Tuesday morning and I got food poisoning the same day too and they've still not updated our case online so I can thankfully rest up and wait till my card comes through the mail instead of incessantly checking online

Are there any August filers that got approved already and did NOT file I-693, but the DS-3025 instead ?

We didn't have an I-693. His medical was something like April 19 or 20, 2008.

Of course Goldfee, you got it! Here's a review...

We got to the building at around 7:50am... went straight in through the metal detectors and security.. and headed in the elevator for the 13th floor. We checked in with a security guard showing him our appointment letter and I.D. He told us to go to window 1. I waited at window 1 to which some loud black lady yelled "yo, do i look like i'm over there?" She was at window 2, a few inches over. I smiled and bit my tongue and handed her my letter, she asked if we had a lawyer, i told her no, and she said to take a seat.

There were many couples waiting anxiously, some with lawyers.

At 8:35am, a small pleasant middle-aged woman called for "Richard Hyde" My Wife and I entered and she led us to our little cubicle. It's like an office cubicle. We raised our right hands and were sworn in.

The first question she asked was "What are you two doing married so young?!" My Wife answered that we fell in love and the officer smiled. She asked how old we were, 21 and 20 and asked if we had any photos. We handed her the album that we had... she browsed through and asked a couple of questions about the people and places in there. She saw a picture of my Wife with my cat back in England and said "Awww, anybody who shows me a picture of a cat gets a greencard."

From that point on i was relaxed!

She then asked how we met... i explained over myspace and that we arranged a trip in November for 10 days. She seemed really intrigued and didn't ask anymore. She said that we match together perfectly.

She asked me the standard I-485 "no" questions. She then asked what our future plans are... we told her to get an apartment of our own and start school. She asked how we would afford both to which my Wife replied and told her that her mother said that we can stay with her as long as we like to get our feet on the ground. The officer nodded.

She then asked if i had my I-94, i gave it to her. She said she's taking it as it's expired and she's approving my green card, and it'll be in the mail in 10-14 days. She gave me an envelope and told me that when the Green Card arrives to send the EAD back in there. She wishes us so much luck and hopes that we are married for 100 years!

That's it.

I can't wait to see the thing in writing now!

but i have a pic from my dog in my bucket...so i hope that will work too...

so i guess iam the next one with interview in this movie on the 3.3 or is anyone in front of me in this race?

Hm, my medical was on April 17, 2008 - right between you guys. So you just included the DS-3025 in your AOS package (vaccination sheet) ? That's what I did ...

That's what we did, too, Daniel. Your medical should be in their file already because it should have been in that big sealed envelope you turned in when you entered the country to activate your K1. Unfortunately, USCIS has a tendency to lose them. We included a copy of the DS 3025 with the vaccinations on it, although they probably already have that. We figured that would clue them in that he got the exam and vaccines done in Canada before he came so they could look for the rest of the medical in the sealed envelope.

I just got an email from CRIS because I changed my password. I may as well keep the account open since we will apply to lift conditions sooner than we think. We've had my husband's GC in hand for nearly a month now and seeing that CRIS email still made my heart skip a beat. That's what this process does to you!

Still waiting. It has been 6 months since we filed and over 4 months since it has been transferred to the CSC.
