hydey good news...a friend of mine got approved last week..she also came here on tourist visa...they even not ask her about that...she had only to show the wedding pics..they asked when they meet and dates of wedding and thats it..no big deal...so u will be fine...and i hope i too

hello to all August filers for AOS,

I'm happy to announced that finally my AOS is approved. Last Feb.13 I received email from CRIS of USCIS that they mailed my Welcome Letter as the NEW RESIDENT OF THE US and card production ordered last Feb. 12...Yahoo!!!!

It's a relief, my AOS is journey is almost over and thanks God for everything. I can't wait to received my GC this week.

I'm also working now because I have my EAD since November..Thanks God!!

To everyone who is still waiting hang in there.I'm sure your the next in line..

K-1 TIMELINE

Feb . 01, 2007- met online

Sept. 12, 2007-first met in person( He came to the PHil for the 1st time, stayed for 2 weeks)

Sept. 20, 2007- "ENGAGEMENT DAY"

Sept. 25,2007- fly back to Georgia, USA

October 17, 2007- Send Papers to USCIS

November 7- USCIS received our papers.

November 14-2007- received the NOA1

Feb. 9, 2008-USCIS aprroved the petition.

Feb. 15, 2008- NOA 2 received and manila case number.

March 28, 2008- MY MEDICAL EXAM( it took 2 days to have your med exam)

April 4, 2008- THE MOMENT DAY- MY INTERVIEW ( mixed emotions i had during this day)

April 14, 2008- still waiting my visa until this time. ( I keep my faith and prayers always to God)

April 29, 2008- My fiancee called the US embassy to follow up my visa, and Lorraine told himvisa is approved!!

April 29, 2008- Delbros texted me that my visa is ready for delivery.

May 2, 2008- visa on hand ( Thanks God)

May 6, 2008- Fly to Manila for my CFO seminar.

May 7, 2008- I arrived in LAX airport & finally met my mahal again after 8 months away from each other.

May 8, 2008- Finally I arrived in Georgia ( my home, my new place, my new life, my new country)

July28, 2008 - MY BIG DAY!!

That's like six consecutive working days that my AOS has been picked up... Hopefully they're working on it rather than just practising their juggling skills with my folder :huh::lol:

02/22/11 - NOA1 (received 03/03/11)

04/04/11 - Biometrics appt (notice received 03/19/11)

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

08/19/2008----NOA EAD AP and AOS

09/06/2008--- Got RFE NEED I-693

09/07/2008--- Biometrics App.

11/01/2008--- Sent I-693 RFE And crossing my fingers.

11/26/2008--- EAD - Card production ordered.

11/26/2008--- AP Approval notice sent and got AP (WITH A TYPO!!!).

12/01/2008--- Got EAD and applied for SSN.

12/03/2008--- Waiting for the eternal SSN.

12/05/2008---Interview letter arrived.

12/20/2008---SSN Arrived

16/01/2009---Got a Job as a civilian in Fort Riley KS.

26/01/2009---Interview Appointment.

Guys I was approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wife opened the letters today:

Welcome to the United States (I-485)

Petition (I-130) also approved.

It says I must receive the CG in the next 3 weeks. Its funny the approval date (Notice Date) was Feb 10 it was mailed the 11th of Feb.

Congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Im so so happy.

Well, I checked the USCIS website and checked my AOS status and found this message:

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On February 17, 2009, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

- And today I am expecting a call from a hospital for a job interview. I am praying that hopefully I get the job. Am so happy for the AOS even though it took them so long to approve it :)
