hey sweetie

no he is selfemployed..so no money back and we cant celebrate a girls party in rio de janeiro together hehehe

but one day i will go to rio to see the carnival there...

so iam fine..still a little bit scared about my appointment but i hope all will be fine....i will let u know when its done

so i saw u got ur gc finally...hope u had a nice party on the january 30 hehe

Hoping to have my GC soon! I don't even have interview letter yet.. huh! It's almost 6 mos now :( for this process.

I've got a job interview again this week and I can't wait to know the result on wednesday. I'm feeling very lazy without having a job for many months now.

i guess if not u can expect to go to an interview and should expect a letter soon...

Got our medicals completed this morning so I will be expressing them to USCIS tomorrow.

Hopefully we'll have the greencard soon :)

My case didn't transfer to CSC. Yup! I might get an interview letter, but i hope they will send that ASAP.

Guys I have some news: good or bad....however it may seem.

Our interviewer was a little hard; didn't ask me a damn thing except where a photo had been taken. He asked my wife where we met, when, my birth date, name I currently use, address where we live. Then he looked at some pics, asked for the apt lease, bank accounts. Sat there and then walked us out, he was kind of puzzle how we met so I told him my father is a diplomat, he smiled.

He handed me a green envelope to send back my employment card and explained to me that we'll receive a decision within a couple of weeks. Should he need more documentation he would let me know, if not I would receive a Welcome to the USA letter. He repeated various times when I receive my GC I should mail back the I-766. By the way he took my I-94.

So I don't know exactly where I'm standing right now.

I think you're fine. If he took your I-94 and asked you to mail back the EA card, then he's going to approve it. Just sit tight and wait, you'll probably get an e-mail from CRIS saying that you're card is being ordered.. very soon! ;)

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

01/02/09 - Response from RFE received (Form G-56/Call-in Notice Appointment)

01/16/09 - Second Appointment to review application -- APPROVED! :-))) YAY!!!
