ok guys..so do i have to the courthouse and make a certiefied copy of my marriage license or is a copy and the orginal enough???

why would you need a marriage license??

the marriage certificate you received after wedding ceremony is an original and doesn't need to be certified. That's what the IO wants to see (the original) and takes a copy of it for your file.

ok guys..thanks..i thought maybe the marriage certificat need an apostille or something like that...to make sure that its a real paper and not a fake lol...

For what it's worth, ours was approved January 20 but we got the CRIS email on the 22nd. There also were no touches until the 22nd (after the one on the 12th, that is). And I know there are others who just got the welcome letter in the mail without ever seeing an update on the system. Maybe some of you were already approved and the wonky system just hasn't updated yet.

Got my GC in the mail today!! :dance: My hubby is all proud and happy ... he's so cute.

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

Don't worry about it. Everything is going to work out. Do you have pictures of the wedding? Pictures of you guys with friends and his/your family?

My officer was just having a really bad day that day and I happened to be his victim. He had his mind set not to approve us then. But after, when I sent everything in and he called us back, he changed completely. His attitude was completely different. He better have believed we were really married. My husband was ready to take them to court. :yes:

Everything is going to work out.. What kind of evidence do you have now? Are all your documents in order? Exam? I-94s? Visa?

4 pics of wedding

4 pics of me on his farm with the horses

3 party pics with me him and friends

2 pics from him with my dog...its difficult to bring us together on a pic because i made pics from him or he from me lol

sams club cards

both ID with same adress

horse magazine catalogs with same adress

bill from the farrier with both names on it

bill from the vet with both names on it

car insurance with both names on it

adavits from a friend who wrote he know both of us well bla bla bla

i dont have more bills because his parents pay all of the ultilities and house payments and stuff like that...they are also my co sponsor

do u think that will be enough?i dont have a bank account yet because i dont have a job so i dont need a account..i have one of his credit cards wich i can use when i need something....
