Don't worry Goldfee....patience....I begin monday my new job, today is my last day at my current job.

Nothing but baby steps for me. At last though, as of today, I finally have a bank card in my name. No more borrowing my wife's card to pay for stuff!

I got my service request back yesterday. As I expected, it was a <polite>bovine manure</polite> statement about how the 90 day rule doesn't apply when an RFE is involved (despite that the RFE was on a different case and totally unrelated to employment authorisation) and that anyway, they can take as long as the want to. Their answer is immaterial anyway, as of sometime this week, they're now ninety days beyond when they resumed after the RFE so I guess I'll call misinformation and immediately put in another service request. Ho hum . They mess with me, I'll mess with them

Incidentally, my understanding that even moving a case file off the shelf to look at it requires scanning it's barcode, which updates the Touch date in CRIS? The wonderful people at USCIS managed to answer my SR without so much as picking up the file. Clever, huh?

I should have kept my <beeeeep>ing mouth shut! My <bleeeeep>ing I-485 has just been RFE'd....

Judging by what they told me in the response to the service request, this also resets the ninety day limit for EAD processing meaning I'll be without a social number, job and DL for another three <beep>ing months.

I'm so <beeep>ing mad right now.

when yes then its the same like in my case..i called INS and they told me read right..60 days UNLESS fingerprints or an interview......

so u can expect an letter in the next time

Yea, They recieved my documents for RFE october 06,2008 and right now it's over 90 days from that date, I had my biometric retake 10-02-2008 so I am wondering if that counts as an update or what.. But what ever it is I am hoping for a written notice..

fendergirl it means u can expect a written desicion or update UNLESS fingerprings or an interview wich is standart not have been completet yes...that means the 60 days dont count really when u not done with ur interview..so is ur case at the NBC aka national benefit center right now??then u can expect that u are scheduled for an interview...i expect also an message every day when i have to show up...

i called usci and asked them and got this information that its sure that i have to go to an interview because NBC scheduled interviews..so we have to wait for an messagen and USCI told me also that unless we are still in the timeframe of 6 month we cant anything else do then wait...so when nothing happend since the end of february then i will call again...

UPDATE: Got a new job at Toyota!!! so I quit my current job!!!!!!!!!!!! Year starts off nice...

Long time no speak bro! What does the new job entail? I have an interview on Tuesday for an admin/clerical job in Paramus.

but here is still nothing from INS but i got my DL today in mail hehe

it looks only different then the DL from my husband...my is a temporary visitor DL and horizontal

Good news! I started my tax preparer job in Liberty Tax. Hope I can make some money in this tax season.

Johnnie and Aicecream, congratulations to both of you for the jobs!

After sitting there gathering dust for 3 months, our AOS was touched today. Whether it is an RFE, our approval, or just someone picking up some reading material for his or her morning constitutional remains to be seen. At least it lets me know our package still physically exists.

@sonoran i think u will be approved soon...its not really often that an REF comes after EAD is approved...

@mr grey..i got my DL Saturday and its a temporary too wich expire date is 15.oktober and my looks not like the DL from my hubby

my is horizontal and says temporary visitor ID
