Happy New Year!

I still don't have any updates of my I-485 online, my case is still pending at CSC. I still don't have a job... :wacko: huhuhuhu

I'm kinda frustrated right now..I want a job...I applied many jobs online but none of them called me yet...huhuhuh

K-1 TIMELINE

Feb . 01, 2007- met online

Sept. 12, 2007-first met in person( He came to the PHil for the 1st time, stayed for 2 weeks)

Sept. 20, 2007- "ENGAGEMENT DAY"

Sept. 25,2007- fly back to Georgia, USA

October 17, 2007- Send Papers to USCIS

November 7- USCIS received our papers.

November 14-2007- received the NOA1

Feb. 9, 2008-USCIS aprroved the petition.

Feb. 15, 2008- NOA 2 received and manila case number.

March 28, 2008- MY MEDICAL EXAM( it took 2 days to have your med exam)

April 4, 2008- THE MOMENT DAY- MY INTERVIEW ( mixed emotions i had during this day)

April 14, 2008- still waiting my visa until this time. ( I keep my faith and prayers always to God)

April 29, 2008- My fiancee called the US embassy to follow up my visa, and Lorraine told himvisa is approved!!

April 29, 2008- Delbros texted me that my visa is ready for delivery.

May 2, 2008- visa on hand ( Thanks God)

May 6, 2008- Fly to Manila for my CFO seminar.

May 7, 2008- I arrived in LAX airport & finally met my mahal again after 8 months away from each other.

May 8, 2008- Finally I arrived in Georgia ( my home, my new place, my new life, my new country)

July28, 2008 - MY BIG DAY!!

same like here...economy is running so its hard to find a job...

and i still hear nothing since 9/18...no touch no letter nothing and i saw that some of the september and oktober filers got interview letters:-((

Yeah - I am having no luck on the job front either - my mum keeps trying to "help" me with suggestions but I wish she would leave me alone and realise that I am doing everything I can!!

No updates here. Still no greencard physically, though we shouldn't worry since we know we were approved. I'm hoping with the awful snow we had it just delayed it.

I'm sending good juju to everyone!! P got his first paycheck on Monday and let me tell you, it was nice for him to finally have one. He felt "like a real man" :lol:

Today I checked my portfolio on the USCIS website and I found out that my I-485 was touched on January 2nd, 2009 with the current status being the same(Case received and pending). I'm not really exicted about it, it could mean a lot of things (Cleaning the dust of my folder, puting my folder back on the shelf after it been in the floor, my background check is back, maybe send it to Pittsburgh where I will have an interview on the 21st but it would had said tranfered...) I mean just so many things that touch could mean, but who knows with the USCIS. With the prayers of VJ community, my family, friends, people who dont even know me and with the grace of God, I will prevail.

I have started this thread ready to start Aos in August.

Hello..count me in i am also august filers, got my ead 1st week november.BTW, my case was transferred to CSC and still pending.I dunno what's going on i couldn't even have my SS card because the SS office told me that immigration should have to update first my status to my married name,sadly until now it hasn't been updated..so sad really..I wish we'll be hearing good news soon with our cases..Good luck to us all!!

i had the same issues with my ssn...take a look on my timeline and u can see how long i had to wait:-((

little advise..if after 4 weeks ur ss is still not there go to ur office and ask them to send it manuell that they print all out and send it manuell ....that speed up my case

No :( And still no Infopass appointments available. Either all the new ones each day are being taken before I get to the website or Atlanta office aren't adding new appointments lately.

That said, the Ombudsman is looking into my case and so is my local Congressman's office. Both have promised to get back to me within the week so I'm hopeful for at least an interim EAD within the next few weeks. Although a document I read on the Ombudsman website dated October '08 says that (against the rules) USCIS aren't tending to issue interims at the moment...

FWIW, the last 'touch' on my EAD was October 9th :huh:
