my appointment letter came today :-)

scheduled for Sept 6.

AOS

5/28/08 - POE San Francisco

6/6/08 - Married

07/12/08 - received SS card

08/08/08 - sent AOS and EAD application

08/11/08 - delivered at Chicago

8/18/08 - received NOA for AOS and EAD (dated 8/14/08)

08/23/08 - received Bio Appt Letter for 09/06/08

8/28/08 - walked-in for Biometrics

9/18/08- case transferred to California. (i485 viewable online)

Oct 3,6,7, 2008 - i485 touched

10/13/08 - EAD card ordered for production

10/16/08 - EAD card ordered for production again (??)

10/21/08 - EAD approval letter sent

10/22/08 - EAD card in hand!

10/27/08 - temporary driver's license (waiting on card..)

10/30/08 - Job offer :-)

11/03/08 - First day at work! whoohoo!!

11/22/08 - received drivers license card

01/12/08- AOS touched after 3 months

02/18/09 - GC production ordered!!!

I got my BIO appointment today, just a few minutes ago.

It was sent August 19th.

My application was also signed by V Bustamente. Dated on Aug 14th, but no NOA1 yet. I called them and was told they have up to 30 days to send a response back. I am so anxious. I am anxiously waiting on the paperwork to start working ..

Wondering if my application is going to take much longer than all of you guys .. :-(

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

01/02/09 - Response from RFE received (Form G-56/Call-in Notice Appointment)

01/16/09 - Second Appointment to review application -- APPROVED! :-))) YAY!!!

01/16/09 - AOS card production ordered - E-mail from CRIS

01/22/09 - AOS card production ordered (again) - E-mail from CRIS

01/23/09 - AOS touched

01/24/09 - Received Welcome to the United States letter and approval notice for I-130

01/28/09 - AOS Approval Notice sent - E-mail from CRIS

01/29/09 - AOS touched

01/30/09 - GC arrived in the mail

11/16/10 - Form I-751 filed (Petition for Removal of conditions)

11/19/10 - Application received at VSC

Hmmm.... AOS package was received on Aug 11th (signed by V Bustamente) and check still not cashed / no NOA yet. Is this normal?

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PM me if you want to be added and keep me updated on your progress - I could go through this thread as it is still pretty small but we did that with the July K-1 sheet and it was a nightmare keeping track of the less active users :)

You can find the link at the bottom of my timeline in my siggie - there is a tab each for AOS/EAD/AP and a formula to show average days so far etc :)

No, you do not.

You need your W-2.

further to the last couple posts....are you talking about including w2's with copy of last years Tax filing? where does it say that w2's are needed as well?

AOS & getting the SSN & the I-693

6/13/08 Applied for SSN for David ----- TRIP 1; 6/23/08 Went back to SSA 'cuz the person didn't pc all documents (rec'd letter from them) ----- TRIP 2

7/2/08 Received David's health insurance cards! Yay!

7/3/08 Went back to SSA; they said come back 7/9 if he still hasn't received it ----- TRIP 3

7/8/08 Got list of vaccines he still needed from CS by fax/phone; tested for immunity to MMR (only vaccine still needed) at our family dr

7/9 & 7/10/08 Went back to SSA, card still not received - Denied opportunity to apply for replacement ----- TRIP 4; Went back to SSA again to apply for a replacement card - Talked to a supervisor this time, POE people entered his last name incorrectly ----- TRIP 5; went to get David's ID thru the State, denied - instructions wrong on website; measles test inconclusive, another test needed; requested new lease

7/14/08 SSA called me in regards to problems at local SSA office

7/15/08 INFOPASS appt to fix POE name input error and then went to airport to fix POE name error

7/17/08 Received SSN card in mail and went to get state ID

7/21/08 State ID received in the mail and tested again for measles immunity

7/29/08 MMR shot #2 given and dropped off papers at Civil Surgeon (CS)

7/31/08 Picked up I-693, completed by local CS, (I paid $25, don't be fooled)

8/3 - 8/6/08 Worked on forms I-485, G-325A, I-864, I-765 and I-131; sent to Chicago - YESSS!

8/11/08 NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP; 9/2/08 Transfered to CSC; 9/4/08 Biometrics

10/24/08 Rec'd AP; 10/27/08 Rec'd EAD; 11/24/08 Rec'd GC

To be honest I called the USCIS various times because most people got their Bio Notice within 3 to 10 days from receiving the NOA. Mine took 12 days, a little longer than usual compared to alot of people here in the VJ. The USCIS told me the NOA takes about 3 weeks to be received once you have filed everything, and the BIO takes another 30 days after receiving the NOA. (Those are their times) Reality is something completly different.

So hold on, your papers will come through. Check constantly to see if they cash the checks. Once they do you'll know things are moving.

11/21/08 - EAD Received (100 days)

04/14/09 - Interview (224 days)

04/25/09 - Green Card Received!

Yes its normal. Just make sure you have enough money when they do cash your check, you dont want that check bouncing. Sometimes its also your bank, which require additonal 2 to 3 business days, remember its business days not any day... to get bank transactions completed.

Recieved BIOMETRICS appt letter today.

We got ours last week. At first I thought it was the AOS appointment :blush: and was sad to find I was wrong! (Hey, miracles happen!!)

His Bio appt is 9/10.

I don't have my NOA to use the receipt number anyway so ;)

We tried using the receipt number and it isn't online. I don't know if it's not online yet or just not available to view pending AOS at all....
