HI Good Afternoon,

I would like to ask if you apply for SSN already? cu'z my Husband and I applied last friday but th elady at SSA said that we need to go to INS to change my I-94 to my married name. But I know that she is giving us wrong instruction cu's I-94 cannot be change to my married name. Some VJ member applied for SSN after 2weeks of got married and the application for SSN has been approved even they haven't apply for AOS.

Since you are from same state I just want to know how if ever you got your SSN. My husband and I will apply for my AOs this month . Thank you

Debz - am so jealous of the snow! It's raining here today again and it is great! I really miss the rain I also feel like I am going to die with this cold I have - I've lost my voice and feel dreadful... Jeremy took a day off work to look after me though

We would have to cross the Mississippi to go for an infopass appointment to get his I-551 stamp, and even assuming we get approved with enough time to get an appointment, that is scary in this kind of weather.

Guys, you do not need to swim across the Mighty River. Get into a car and drive to SL using one of the bridges. Last time I checked (sunday) there were at least five of them from IL to MO...... all in a good shape

Hi guys im new. I was just wondering I applied for AOS/EAD in early August 08. Everything was smooth until I got the RFE sometime during Sep after my biometrics were taken. Im just wondering, its been over 100 days and still no sign of EAD. For EAD it says case received and pending. I've been told its the RFE maybe thats making it take longer but im not sure. Anybody else experience this?

HEy!! I got my AP on the mail yesterday!!! Yeayyyy!! I guess my EAD will take longer due to the RFE for the medical exam.... ANyways I wanted to ask you guys if when you recieved the letter for the interview did you also recieve an email notifying you of the interview?? I am planning to go home in January for abou 3 weeks or a month and I am worried I might get the letter while we are in Costa Rica. ????

I also wanted to ask you guys if it is safe to travel with the AP. There are some notes on the actual docuemnt that say you might be inadmisible ven if you have the AP document. It sats that if you have benn un lawfully present hre in the USA they might deny your entry. I was onlt out of status for 1 week or 2...?? Am I taking a risk by travelling??

Joey_hy---yes, RFE will delay processing of everything (AP, EAD, and AOS). They will put it on hold until they get the RFE response. It is also possible that your EAD is on its way to you and the system has not been updated. That happens a lot.
