Hey, Johnnie, from where I sit, your 33F sounds nice and toasty warm! 16 with a wind chill of 4 above zero this morning when I walked the puppy, which is an improvement over yesterday at least.

My husband's AOS is sitting right there in the dusty pile with weedebz and Trelawny's.

We got our sunshine back here although it is still a "chilly" 50f at 9am... there is a gorgeous snowfall on Mt San Jacinto though :) Very pretty and the first time I have seen snow on these mountains :)

Hello August AOS filers. :star:

I am a September filer and am here to ask for your advice.

There are several Sept. filers including myself whose EAD is pending more than 90 days....

I will hit the 90th day next Monday.

I have contacted National Customer Service Center and placed a service request on the day 76, which was 12/9.

However, I have not heard anything regarding the service request so far....

Are there any August filers whose EAD is still pending or whose EAD took over 90 days to be processed?

If so, did you order an interim EAD over the phone or at the infopass appointment?

How long did it take for you to receive an interim EAD?

Should we make an infopass appointment?

I am sorry about asking so many questions.

I really appreciate it if you can give me as well as other Sept. filers any advice.

Thank you so much. :)

Happy Holidays :star:

Nao

Hi Goldfee111 :star:

Thanks for your reply.

I was told to call back on 12/22 by one of the supervisors on the phone since it will be my 90th day.

I guess, by law, they must process EAD application within 90 days.

I already made an infopass appointment regarding EAD pending more than 90 days.

So, I will see what they tell me there then.

Thanks. :star:

Hi Nao,

My husband's EAD took over 90 days. He made an INFOPASS and actually the day he had his appointment, we got the email from USCIS saying the card was ordered :)

His AOS Interview was 12/10 and we were approved.

Good luck!

I recevied an RFE ion Monday.... the freaking medical exam was filled out wrong. Not only did I have to pay over $600 (including vaccines) but the lady had bad hand writing and scribbled and scartched the information. I could not believe it!! I still do not have my EAD nor my AP because of this. I am filling a complaint to the health center. I just do not want anyone else to have to go through almost 5 months of waiting for EAD and AP and not recieve it because the civil surgeon does not know how to fill out the form!! I went to the health ceneter on Tuesday and they have filled out a new form... so I have sent the RFE back...

That is ridiculous! I made them show me the form and give me a copy of it before they placed it in the sealed envelope. I'm glad I was standing there, because the doctor filled out the form but forgot to SIGN IT!

I got a copy as well. And I did notice that she had scratched and changed the immunization record part but I figured she knew what she was doing since this health center is the ONLY USCIS sivil surgeon in my city.... anyway I guess I should have NEVER assumed she knew what she was doing....

Nao - you can compare timelines for August filers on the spreadsheet - there is a link in my siggie :)

Debz - am so jealous of the snow! It's raining here today again and it is great! I really miss the rain :) I also feel like I am going to die with this cold I have - I've lost my voice and feel dreadful... Jeremy took a day off work to look after me though :luv:

I'm envious of the snow too, Debz, but only because it is preferable to FREEZING RAIN!! Now I ask you how the bleep we got freezing rain yesterday when it was in the TEENS?????!!!?!?!?! The one advantage to cold snaps is that we don't get freezing rain or that heavy slushy gooey snow you get when it is just below freezing that is such a pain to scrape off the windshield. But somehow we did yesterday. Now it has turned back into snow---the nice light fluffy snow I like (even though it is still hideously cold). Tomorrow we are supposed to get an ice storm. The weather is supposed to be pretty bad all the way through Christmas Eve with the exception of Saturday, so believe it or not, I am now hoping and praying my husband's AOS is NOT approved until we get home from Canada. We would have to cross the Mississippi to go for an infopass appointment to get his I-551 stamp, and even assuming we get approved with enough time to get an appointment, that is scary in this kind of weather.

Seeking --- gah, that really SUCKS about the RFE! USCIS apparently has a pretty bad track record for just flat out losing the medical reports, too. Idiots.

Jeff and Dona --- Good luck!

Jeraly --- sorry to hear you are still feeling so sick. So not fun. I hope it goes away soon.
