No there wont be an RFE for it, my medical is fine, but the civil surgeon told me i need to (a month after the inital shot) get a second follow up shot or the first one wont be effective. And sometimes they ask at your interview to see your follow up jab she said...

And sometimes they ask at your interview to see your follow up jab she said...

I would do it. Better safe, than sorry. The officer asked me what were all those vaccines? I said I didn't know, they were from when I was growing up. All I had to do was a TB test and go back 3 days later, the doctor said everything was fine. He did go over in details the entire I-693 form. You never know what your officer may ask.

I would do everything you need to do so they cannot call you back for an RFE like me.

Absolutely, i am trying to hold off as my health insurance is effective from January 1st, 2009. Any advice? Would it be cheaper to wait until then and start the hepatitis B all over again... should i contact my original civil surgeon?

Jen - so glad to hear it was reasonably painless!! I am paranoid because we have very little showing comingling of finances - we have a joint savings account with no money in it because we got a better interest rate in an online account that we couldn't set up as a joint one. I am not on any of Jeremy's credit cards because his credit is so dire I don't want it to harm mine as we want to buy a house next year. We have our apartment lease but the landlord just put me on as "Aly Rxxxxxxx" instead of my full name so I am not sure if that will cause any problems. We *do* have my name on his insurance which is through his employer... Am I being too paranoid? Should we get my name on the bills even though he pays for them all as I don't have a job yet?

Thanks, Aly.

Well, we don't have any joint bills at all. Patrick's on my health insurance at work (until his new job starts, then he's getting it free through his employer - yay!) and on the car insurance. Then we have a joint bank account. We added him to the lease the DAY BEFORE our interview :) and we had a quote from an oil company for heating with his name on it, but the same address on the lease. That's pretty much it.

We brought pics from the wedding, our wedding guest book, a Christmas card that said "Have a great first Christmas together as husband and wife" and a copy of the contract from our wedding venue.

I think you'll be fine. I was worried because I'm older than Patrick but it was really no issue.

Good luck to everyone as we wait and wait ....

Oh thanks for that Jen - the Christmas card is a nice idea - I have one to Daughter and Son in Law which looks nice  I'm trying not to stress about it too much until the new year but thinking the bills would be handy if nothing else but for my peace of mind...

I'm in the bedroom today hiding from Jehovah's Witnesses. I got talking to them a couple of weeks ago and they were really nice but they keep coming around and because I am not religious it makes me feel uncomfortable when they read me stuff from the Bible  Back in England I would have just said I wasn't interested and left it at that but now I feel guilty
