I think you will. I got the same e-mail notice today, and also received my welcome letter and my green card by mail. ;) Done with USCIS for almost two years.

Oh cool! I just got your PM so will go on a spreadsheet-updating mission :)

I got my INTERVIEW NOTICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! for Feb 10th '09!!!

THanks Sonoran!!!! I'm so freakin' happy today! It's such a relief to finally have word of the GC papers. I talked to Hydey a few minutes ago and he also received it for the 19th of Feb.

Great news JJ!! So Hydey got his letter as well today? If so then I will update him on the spreadsheet too :)

My Dear Friends ..

I just got back from my interview. They did not approve it. The lovely officer gave us an RFE. I am sooo disappointed, my head hurts and my experience at the office was not very pleasant. We waited 2 and a half hours to finally be called in. It was chaotic in there.

The IO did not believe our marriage was real!!! I am sooo stressed right now. Cannot believe it.

I will come back later here and give you guys all the details. Going to take a nap now .. my head is going to explode.

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

Oh hun I am soooo sorry to hear that - I am sure that given some extra info things will be just fine although I can understand that it is very stressful for you right now. Take some time to rest and get your head straight and hopefully things will look better with a fresh head on (F)

I'm sorry to hear that, Just provide what ever papers needed to prove the bonifide relationship, nothing to worry everything will be fine.

oh my god GLF thats terrible

but i think when u bring more proofs of bona fide they will believe you....they will call u to an stroke interview and iam sure u will be fine then...keep ur head up u will be fine..

@johnnie .hey look only be patient and then it will happen....but here is still nothing...no letter no update and no SSN..i really go nuts....

05/29/2008 --- Entry into the US on Visa Waiver to visit my girlfriend for a summer holiday and to help take care of her sick father where needed.

06/20/2008 -- After the sad passing of my girlfriend's father, we decided to get married and stay together

08/08/2008 --- We get married, lovely ceremony and dinner with all of Sarah's family present :-)

08/25/2008 --- AOS package sent to Chicago via Fedex overnight priority mail. Fingers crossed now!

08/26/2008 -- AOS Package received in Chicago, signed for by A.Smith (1 day before my VWP expires!)

09/02/2008 -- Checks cashed!!

09/03/2008 -- NOA1 received for I-485, I-130 and I-765.

09/05/2008 -- Case is shown online as pending!!

09/08/2008 -- Biometrics appointment letter received for September 23rd!! (For both I-485 and I-765)

09/12/2008 -- Biometrics walk-in completed, 11 days before the appointment! In Hackensack NJ.

09/20/2008 -- RFE for I-485 received. It was dated September 17.

09/25/2008 -- RFE response evidence sent out to Lee's Summit by USPS, certified mail.

10/02/2008 -- RFE response evidence received and case processing resumed!

11/04/2008 -- EAD CARD PRODUCTION ORDERED! Thank you Lord.

11/10/2008 -- EAD card received in the mail! wOOt wOOt!!!!

11/12/2008 -- SSN ordered from Hackensack, 2-4 weeks in mail!

11/28/2008 -- SSN Received in the mail, wOOt!!!!!!!!

12/7/2008 -- INTERVIEW LETTER RECEIVED!!! It's scheduled February 19, 2009 at 8:30am in Newark. *nerves*

2/19/2009 -- Interview 8:30am - Green Card verbally approved

2/23/2009 -- Welcome letter received! followed by I-130 approval notice!

Congratulations to all who received GCs and Interviews. Looks like most of August filers have either been approved, transferred to CSC or received their ILs already. Goldfee111 hang in there we are on the same boat here. I hope i receive my IL SOON!
