Well I've only just started looking but there is an awesome position for an assistant manager position in a jewelry store which would be perfect! I just need to figure out the whole resume thing... How did everyone else get on with putting together a resume? I have a CV from the UK but it is two pages long and I don't know how they are structured here at all...

Oh - and am still taking updates for the spreadsheet so PM me!!! I updated a bunch yesterday so now is the time to get in before I get a job and have a life!! :lol:

It is not the most enjoyable thing to do, I tell you. I worked on mine and my husband's and still trying to change a few things on mine. :wacko:

Thanks so much! I am going to get on that today or tomorrow and apply for that job because it just looks so perfect for what I want to do right now :) I have soooo many e-mails to catch up on though from being away... I swear that is a full time job in itself!!!

Oh! My AP just arrived in the mail today! Talk about an unusually quick turnover rate for USCIS!!! Three days! Let's hope my EAD arrives soon - I've talked myself into this job now and I reallllly want it...

Then, start applying. I've applied for a bunch and it doesn't seem that easy to land an interview.. :(

08/12/08 - Mailed application to CSC (I-485/I-765/I-130)

08/14/08 - CSC received application (confirmed via online signature)

08/21/08 - Notice date by USCIS

08/25/08 - Received NOA1

08/29/08 - Notice of Rejection of 797C Fee (Sent in extra money - money order mailed back.)

Fee waived for I-765 application when filed concurrently with I-130 and I-485.

08/30/08 - Biometrics Apt Notice received

09/13/08 - Biometrics completed and picture taken

11/05/08 - EAD card production ordered

11/07/08 - Received I-485 Interview letter

11/10/08 - EAD card production ordered (again)

11/13/08 - EAD approval notice sent

11/14/08 - EAD arrived in the mail

11/21/08 - I-130 touched and I-485 finally shows up online

12/08/08 - Interview for GC - RFE requested :-(

01/02/09 - Response from RFE received (Form G-56/Call-in Notice Appointment)

01/16/09 - Second Appointment to review application -- APPROVED! :-))) YAY!!!

01/16/09 - AOS card production ordered - E-mail from CRIS

01/22/09 - AOS card production ordered (again) - E-mail from CRIS

01/23/09 - AOS touched

01/24/09 - Received Welcome to the United States letter and approval notice for I-130

01/28/09 - AOS Approval Notice sent - E-mail from CRIS

01/29/09 - AOS touched

01/30/09 - GC arrived in the mail

11/16/10 - Form I-751 filed (Petition for Removal of conditions)

11/19/10 - Application received at VSC

Oh I am going to :) I know the market is tough right now - looking at things this is really the only job that is even suitable and it happens to be ideal... I just don't want to get my hopes up too much...

They haven't forgotten about you LOL it's coming...it'll be inthe mailbox when you're not looking (those letters like sneaking up on ppl) :whistle:

Oh don't worry about it - I only just got my EAD/AP approved so you're not the only ones ;) Nothing to report here - apparently my AOS case still doesn't exist but then that doesn't really surprise me :lol:

i had the last 485 touch on 18 september and they wrote they will make an decision or update in 60 days....

ohmmmmmmmmmmmm today are 65 days :crying::oops:

just an update... i recieved letter of notice the other day that my case was transferred to CSC on Nov.14... that's all for now... hoping no interview for me...

09-03-08 Received Biometrics Appmt. dated 09-18-08

09-18-08 Biometrics at Columbus Ohio 11am (went smooth)
