Well it's taken us ages to get AOS together thanks to joint sponsors employer being super slow getting employment letter. I know we don't NEED it as such but I wanted all the evidence I could get!!

My package was mailed today. So here I am, an August filer. So here we go...let the waiting commence and may the journey be quick and smooth for all of us.

i called designated civil surgeon and she said the charge is $300 for everything.is this too much or almost the same charge you had?

My case is AOS based on marriage. Im currently on H1 visa. My lawyer mailed all the documents yesterday. It would arrive USCIS today. We would keep each other posted. Hopefully it would be a smooth ride for all of us. The wait begins......................................

call all surgeon in your area ! the prices varies a lot from one to another.

Also, with the new form 693 (and not 693a, it's not used anymore) a lot of doctors will simply refuse to fill up the part necessary and will ask you to do a full medical (and of course charge you for it)

it shouldn't be that bad. you already should have all the documents with your k3 application.

Basically it's a couple of pictures, copy of your birth certificate, passport and marriage certificate.
