Hey Everyone:

I was thinking of starting a new thread for August filers. My case is based on AOS on marriage. I m currently in H1 staus and filed AOS today to the USCIS. I expect it to arrive to USCIS by tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yahoooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! The wait begins............................

04/09/2008 I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox

05/03/2008 call to USCIS because NOA1 not received ;( Got the receipt number and was told that we cannot get replacement NOA1.

08/21/2008 request for NOA1 for I-130 to file AOS placed over the phone and forwarded to VSC. Thanks to the first great Rep at USCIS hotline

10/17/2008 Hubby`s B-day, NOA1 for I-130 finally arrives!

10/21/2008 AOS sent to Chicago lockbox

10/31/2008 NOAs for AOS received

11/06/2008 I-130 is transferred to CSC

11/20/2008 biometrics done

12/02/2008 I-130 APPROVED!!!

01/02/2009 EAD received

02/12/2009 Interview APPROVED!!!

02/17/2009 welcome letter received

02/23/2009 GC received!!! yay!!!

11/18/2010 I-751 Sent to VSC

11/22/2010 NOA1

01/07/2011 Early Bio

01/27/2011 Scheduled Bio

05/11/2011 RC approved

05/17/2011 GC received

Naturalization

11/14/2011 Sent package via Priority to Nebraska SC

04/03/2012 Interview passed!!!

04/10/2012 Oath

04/10/2012 New prints required/done

04/14/2012 Received a welcome packet but still no certificate

04/17/2012 Certificate is here!!!!! Dated 04/16/2012 huh????

I filed today finally, express mail. USPS told me monday at 3pm it should be there....now the wait begins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Filed for AOS . Sent through USPS Priority Express : March 03, 2009
Package Delieverd at USCIS: March 05, 2009
March 13, 2009 : Checks Cashed
March 13, 2009 : NOA 1 received on I-485, I-130, I-765. Dated March 11th, 09
March 17, 2009 : Biometrics Letter recieved (Dated 13th March). Interview on 1st week of April
April 2, 2009 : Biometrics done. Total time taken with wait 20 mins.
April 22, 2009 : Called USCIS. They have received fingerprints and work permit is in process.
May 7, 2009 : I-765 case online. Card Production ordered.
May 11,2009 : EAD card received.
May 12,2009 : Applied for SSN.
May 18,2009 : Received SS card.
June 08,2009 : Received Letter for Interview ( scheduled on July 14 th July )
July 14th : Great Interview. All done in 20 mins.
July 18th: Online status - Card Production ordered. Thank God !! I-130 online status : Pending
July 23rd : Welcome to USA & I-130 approval letter recieved. Online status still shows pending.
July 31st : Received conditional green card

m on f1 married to us citizen on may 15 2008

i filed on 1st July received on July 3rd by uscis got a big REJECTION NOTICE on july 26 cuz of my stupid lawyer mistake :crying: agian refiled on july 30. just waiting for the receipt.

Hi All:

NOA received for AOS/EAD/AP. I filed 7/31, received Auguat 3rd , Notice Date August 6th. I have 2 questions!!!

1)MY AOS and EAD NOA has Biometric Appointment Info on the page but AP says it would be decided within 60-90 days. Can some one comment on that.

2)I m trying to put my receipt number to see the progress of my case on USCIS website, but i guess it doesnt recognize it. Is it still too early!!!!!!!!!!

It is what is says. You have to wait for the biometric appointment letter, look at my timeline to give you a better idea of timing. Your AP will be decided in a period from 60-90 days after everything is done (biometrics), you will be receiving your EAD and AP in a period of about 90 days after receiving the NOAs.

Indeed, too early, they don't work instantly give it some time :thumbs:

Tricky question, some have succeeded, some haven't. Some have been turned away and asked to reschedule. You can try, you won't loose anything, if it doesn't work, just reschedule :thumbs:
