8/8/05 - sent I-130 to Vermont

8/18/05 received NOA!!

9/9/05 I-130 APPROVED!!

2/13/06 CASE COMPLETE per NVC - got letter on 2/25/06

3/28/06 - INTERVIEW SCHEDULED FOR 5/2/06 @ 10:30 A.M.

Medical scheduled for 4/10/06 - everything went great!!

5/2/06 - INTERVIEW - APPROVED !!

5/20/06 - Crash came home to NY for good!!

3/25/08 FedEx confirmed-package received

3/28/08 check cleared bank

3/31/08 received NOA1-extension (dated 3/25/08)!!

4/7/08 received NOA2-biometrics appt (dated 4/3/08)!

05/03/2005 NOA1 for I-130 CR1

10/28/2005 NOA2

NVC Timeline

11/15/2005 - NVC case number assigned

01/04/2006 - NVC completed the case... ( 50 days)

01/11/2006 Case sent to Embassy

01/16/2006 Case deliverd to Embassy as per DHL tracking

February 7th, 2006 Found out Interview date by Calling DOS (202-663-1225)

February 13, 2006 - Packet 4 received

March 21st, 2006 - Medical

March 23rd, 2006 - Interview --- VISA APPROVED

March 24th - Passport received. ( Applicant picked up passport from Courier/delivery service office)

April 7th - Hubby's POE at Chicago.

April 10th - Trip to SSA Local office to apply for Social Security Card.

April 27th - 1st Welcome letter

May 1st - 2nd Welcome letter

May5th - Received Social Security card in mail

May 11th - Received Green Card in mail

196 Days @ USCIS ( 178 for NOA2 + 18 case transfer at NVC)

50 Days @ NVC to complete the case

13 Days @ case transfer at embassy

65 Days @ Embassy

Total -324 days from NOA1 to Visa approval

Thank you all for your kind wishes, we've got the medical on friday, then I've got to steady my head for the interview........it was so fast, and so unexpected. :D

Yes, I called them regularly, and followed up with an email every time, just to remind them that they can feel free to book me into a cancellation.

Believe it or not, when we started this process we predicted 28 May, which wasn't bad going with the processing dates standing still and knocking us senseless!!.....................I still put 28 May down as my travel date (got to keep the faith) and I didn't want to be controlled by the (so called) slowdown at London.

For those of you who get worried when you get the standard 6-8 week standard email response, DON'T BELIEVE IT! :no: I got that email 2 days ago!

Keep pushing everyone, there is a light at the end of that tunnel. :dance:

Thats pretty normal speed for K3 & if you put a travel date down.....London are very good at trying to accomodate the date you say your traveling.............good Luck :thumbs:

May/25th 2006- Green card arrives in the mail................YAY!!

19th June 2006 I Had to go to the Social Security Office to get my number, the DS-230 didnt work for me!!

26-June-2006- Social Security# arrived in the mail....YAY!!

Feb 2008 lift conditions <<<reminder to self!!<<<< went to England for a visit instead, no rush right, 90 days is a long time,LOL

8-8-2005 Met in person in the US. Visa Waiver.

22-10-2005 Engaged.

2-11-2005 Flew back to Sydney. Many tears!

5-11-2005 Began visa journey.

2-12-2005 Shadow (Andrew) posts petition.

7-12-2005 NOA1 dated the 5-12-2005.

..................Seems like never ending waiting.

..................Interview went well, just waiting on Criminal History checks to post back with that envelopee and passport to get visa.

5-6-2006 Received Criminal History Check in the mail and posted off back to consulate with passport etc hoping for it's return with visa in two weeks.

14-6-2006 Passport and visa recieved in mail. Visa issued the 13th.

24-6-2006 USA here I come

26-7-2006 Received Social Security Card in less than 5 working days after applying.

As you will see from my timeline, Packet 3 was downloaded and posted to the London Embassy on 3 May. Yesterday we decided not to call until Friday, and then once a week thereafter. Today, 17th May :P I have been notified of my interview date via email! :dance::dance::dance: I am in complete shock! :dancing: 30th May.

So you actually sent the pack 3 documents to london before you even recieved the pack from them?? can we do that?? wow congratulations - im gonna have to arrange something where I can have the medical and interview in the same week if not the same day I dont want to make 2 trips to lonosdn - it means I have to stay with my brother who is really not very happy with what I am doing :(

Our file was sent to NVC from nebraska on the 8th may should they have recieved it by now? my beloved hasnt got anything in the mail - should he call them to get the case number and when it is gonna be sent to london?

4 May 2006: NOA2!!!!! (DAY 66)

8 May 2006: File Sent to NVC (as stated on email dated 9 May)

24 May 2006: NVC sends our file to London Embassy

8 June 2006: Packet 3 arrives (DAY 101)

25 August 2006: Pack 3 sent to London Embassy registered post

29 August 2006: London Embassy receives my Pack 3 - 9/9/06 pack 4 arrives

SEPT 2006:APPLICATION PUT ON HOLD - WE HAD A FALLING OUT.

MAY 2007:RESUMED THE VISA APPLICATION

6 June 2007: Medical @ 2.30pm - need to get anew GP letter and psychiatric evaluation

7 June 2007: INTERVIEW @ 10am - waiting for new police record letter

3 July 2007: APPROVED/Visa arrives

I dowmloaded pack 3 & sent it as soon as i knew it had been sent out, the only difference between the pack they sent me & the papers i sent them was the check list!!.....but i did get it from the London embassy site, & it was ok!!

NVC will send the USC a letter saying when the case was sent to London also the case number!!, but you can call NVC to get the information......for K visa's you have to speak to an operator :thumbs:
