After getting our chat logs converted to word... it comes out to over 1000 pages... This seems like a little excess to print

Does anyone have ideas on the subject? What is your personal experiance on the matter? How many pages do other people turn in?

I PRINTED ABOUT HUNDRED PAGES. BUT IT WASN'T ASKED FROM ME BY THE PRE SCREENER AND CONSUL. I SUGGEST JUST PRINT REASONABLE NUMBER OF PAGES. HAVE SOME FROM THE VERY FIRST MONTH YOU CHAT, MIDDLE PART AND THE MOST RECENT.

ALL THE BEST FOR YOU IN YOUR INTERVIEW:)

i only printed 2pages (different dates, didn't convert it to word, just clicked on yahoo archived and then the print button which only prints first page) per month starting december 2007 (the month before we mailed petition) till march 2008 (month of approval).. then one page per week the whole month of april, then 2 pages of different dates 2weeks before my interview...

I also printed only selected emails from august 2005 up to before my interview date. and printed some call logs.

In the end, neither the prescreener nor the consul asked for any call and chat logs, didn't ask for any emails nor snail mails.. they only asked for pictures.

Good luck on your interview.

our conversation is 34 pages per day in MS Word. what i did to make the convo shorten is that i made the font size 10 then i made it in 2 columns in that way it made the 34 pages down into 17.BTW, i only printed 2 convos per month plus i took screenshots of the chat history to show that we chat everyday. hope this thing helps :)

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

I did about the same as PINK, and also the email log pages. The Kuala Lumpur interviewer read the chats in detail for about 30 minutes during the interview. Jo was told to take a seat while they did the reading and 2 persons read and discussed the content and made comments that they were satisfied it was genuine.

Must have been a slow day, as only 1 K1 visa that day.

Sweetie and I chat every day ever since we decided to get serious after my second trip in January. Using 10 point font on WORD I took a chat from each week and filled half a page. I did not use complete conversations, I only provided samples.

We met in September and I included samples of those as well to show we took time to get to know one another. When I was doing this time period I noticed we did not chat from my birthday in mid November to her birthday first part of January, OUCH.

Oh I miss my Sweetie so much.

no, i don't think that you'll get in trouble with that as long as you have enough emails and chat logs then i think you are good.
