Hi

I have been living in the US since Spetember of 2007 and have a Green card.

Now my question is,is there any type of Visa my parents can apply for with me being a perminent resident?

They can come visit me on the VWP but they always get asked if I am here legally and it is just a total pain,I always do worry they wont be able to get in.

VWP is it for them other that applying for an actual B1 visitor's visa.

Later if they do wish to immigrate, you need to be a US Citizen, at that point you could file for IR Immigrant visas.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

But pointless if they do not wish to vist for more than 90 days. And they would need to be OAP's.

I remember you from back in the day. Glad to hear you're doing fine here in the US.

Unfortunately for now, there is nothing you can do for your parents until you become a US citizen. And even then, the only option they have is you filing for their IR visas which are for permanent residency. If this is not something they're interested in, they the VWP will have to do for now and deal with the Immigration officers each time they come in.
