Note:

Please fill out I-130, wait 6 months for approval, then 3 more months for an interview. (Unless of course we've bombed your country into the stone age, then you qualify for expedited processing.)

Welcome to the USA!!!

I suggest that you use whatever name printed in your passport. As for me, I have my passport in my married name already, and so I used it all throughout my immigration process (in filling out the forms).

hey, i just want to ask a question for my husband, since I petitioned him for I-130,..i'm still using my last name, what if i have to send the Affidavit of support still with my maiden name..should I change my last name right away so It doesn't conflict with his upcoming interview in the future? actually, it is not really a problem as long as you have your marriage certificate or any document to prove that both names are one and the same person. also, if you notice in the immigration forms, they usually ask for "other names used".

write your name in the G325-a with same info's of your passport. i renewed my passport with my married name and the middle name i am using now is the last name i used when i was single.

ex. (single name) Maria Torres Tan

(married name) Maria Tan Smith

No. I-130 is for CR-1 or IR-1. It is an immigrant visa petition. However, you need to file I-130 to get a K-3 visa. So no I-130, no K-3.

Here's the summary:

K-3 Visa

I-130>I-129>Med Exam>Interview>POE>AOS
