I just paid for AOS online this morning, and the lady told me she could give me the IIN, but not to use it either because the system wasn't fully working (or something like that). I paid anyway.

I think this is what they tell everybody. I guess I will find out in a couple of days if my payment is processed. In any case I took screengrabs and printed the receipt. I even tried the "Email Receipt" option and I rceived the receipt in my inbox attached in PDF format. That was a good sign at least.

Yes, ever since they started the online system, they always have said not to use it because it does not work.

If you can get into the system, and it accepts the payments, it works.

one of our fellow VJ members paid through the online system. NVC took the money out and the bank paid it and the status still showed as pending. She fought for it but ended up eating it up and making the payment twice.

oh no! i hope it didn't! i paid my AOS feel the other day, 7/29. Still shows pending though. No money has been taken out of my bank account just yet.. but the AVR said that it has received the bill 7/30. does this mean it has been paid?

jen, if you do online banking and are checking your account status online, sometimes it might take a day or two for EFT transfer...call your bank tomorrow..they can give u the most up to date info.

That is crazy because I used it last night and called NVC today to check it and they said that it is in process. The lady I spoke with in the morning yesterday said they are trying to fix it and another lady I spoke with at night said I should try it and it worked for me so I don't know what they are talking about. Good luck.

Yup same here. I was also able to print out the AOS cover sheet. I should be able to mail off the AOS packet today as well...now if they would only invoice my IV bill.

I was one of the people that had the online system take out $400 from my bank account twice. It took one month of corresponding with the NVC and sending evidence to a supervisor for me to get a cheque made out to me for the extra $400 which came from the treasury department. The online system isn't officially up and open to the public so realize there is a risk in using it!
