Some people get to go on holidays. I suspect that's at least part of the explanation. Aside from that, priorities change. Posting on a message board isn't really high up on the list for many people, nor should it be...probably. I think most of the regular posters do so because being on the computer is part of their *cough cough* job - although there are some equally valid other reasons.
